This game far exceeds are expectations . So good !

I have been playing this game now for over 150 hours and still have not beaten it. But if you are less distractable than you can beat if significantly quicker. I will say that the game itself is less difficult than previous Zelda games. But the world is insane and truly open, once you get past the first three story missions they open you up to the entire game and you can literally go and do anything you want. There is most definitely a plot and the game does a good job to ensure that you are never mindlessly exploring the world. I would recommend the DLC's if you like the Zelda franchise and if you like having more tools in your pocket. But this is not like a lot of those games these days where you need the DLC to enjoy the full game. Bottom line, if you like Zelda, you will like Breath of the Wild.

Totally open world is overwhelming at first but the real draw is complete freedom of exploration. There’s a ton of mechanics to learn and you can get into a totally random boss fight unexpectedly. You’ll die ALOT but you’ll also keep coming back and feel the thrill of defeating an enemy above your equipment level/ability finally vanquishing a tremendous foe and reaping the sweet loot.

This game doesn't stop impressing me with its DLCs, beautiful soundtrack, and all together great package of a game. Every stone unturned fills me with a sense of rewarding even if there is no prize to be earned for my strife. The characters are all lovable, from the main characters such as Link, Zelda, or the champions to the small encounters you have on the roads to new locations. Overall the story was a masterpiece, the divine beasts were an amazing idea for puzzles, and fighting Ganon was an excellent experience along with the ending. The world kept me running with many side quests to complete and memories to unfold in order to expand the story. There are so many things to explore, and just seeing what everything is in the end fills me with joy for how the whole game came together. I would absolutely recommend this game to everyone, whether you are a Zelda fan or not.

This is without a doubt a fantastic game. I'm a long time Zelda (3d games mainly) fan, and this latest iteration definitely delivers. Amazing open world, good graphics (in between the overly cartoony cel-shaded wind waker, and the more dark and serious looking twilight princess). Game play is so far phenomenal. If you have a switch, do yourself a favor and get this game. The little starter pack bonus guide is also great. It made me reminisce of when games came with actual instruction booklets full of lore and artwork. And the best part of the starter pack is that it costs a whopping $0 more than the regular game on it own.

This is one of the 3/4 games that every Switch owner should have (the others being Mario Odyssey, and Smash Ultimate/Mario Kart). Though there is a small story and puzzles in shrines, the bread and butter of this game is the exploration and combat, and they make the game so addicting and enjoyable. There's also so much to do that you could easily rack up 80 hours from completing shrines and side quests, trying to obtain strong weapons and armor, getting Korok seeds, and much more. I cannot stress enough how fun this game is to play.

From the open world, to the puzzles, Breath of the Wild does not disappoint. It’s an incredibly dense world and extremely fun to explore.

After 150+ hours playing the game, i was able to beat the game, there are so many side quests and shrines that you'll be busy trying to complete everything in the game. I liked the story and for the first time in years i enjoyed exploring the entire map in the game; the game graphics are beautiful and it encourages you to keep playing. If you are a longtime Zelda series fan you should definitely play this game. (This version includes a guide explaining how to survive in the game which is cool).

This is my second copy of this game...sold the 1st with my 1st Switch. After playing the 1st time I was kinda burnt out on having to craft all my food items and potions...very unlike old Zelda games. But after playing the 2nd time I appreciate this addition to the game. It adds something other Zelda games do not have & can really help give you a boost when you really need it (in many areas of the game). Lots of challenges, fights, puzzles, and adventures; every bit worth the money.

Breath of the Wild is surprisingly a well made open world Zelda game. It gives you liberty to do whatever you want (you can even go straight to the Final Boss, if you want to) and there is just so many things to do besides the main questline. It doesn't have the traditional "do this" or "go there" like other Zelda games, so you might wonder what to do a few times, but once you get to explore the map, you'll notice that you may be slowly progressing towards your goal.

This game is one of the best LoZ made. Best Buy did a great job shipping this in perfect condition. The map and guide are nice to have, since you aren't paying any more than regular game price for these items. In my opinion, second only to Ocarina of Time. Open world is vast and fantastic. Graphics and art is great. The ability to explore is what really makes this game great. My only wish was more of a dungeon feel like what Ocarina of Time provided.

I'll be honest, I have never finished a Legend of Zelda game. Just couldn't get into them. But this, this was different. Nintendo really outdid themselves with Breath of the Wild. The world is huge and fun to explore, gameplay is varied and will keep you on your toes. The story and writing is what really keeps me going; it's very good! Solid gameplay, good writing, content that will keep you busy for months? It's what games should be.

This is actually one of the only Zelda games I've finished, It has a great open world feel to it and a lot of optional quests to do. This is definitely a game that is worth full price relating to how many hours you will get out of it. Overall, it was really fun. The story could have been a bit more interesting, but it was still good.

Blown away by this game... It's super easy to get lost in the story and also love how the game teaches you to play as you go. Game does get a little bit more challenging and requires more strategy as you dive in deeper into the story, but it's really just common sense and overall this has become my favorite game on Switch. Must have title for sure!

This is a unique and amazing Zelda experience. The non-linear, open-world design is a fresh way to venture into Hyrule and gives you lots of ways to navigate with the game rather than imposing a specific path through it. The graphics are stunning and there is so much to see and do. Not even 30% and have put in dozens of hours of play time.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a great game all around. The storyline and gameplay are reminiscent of the classic Zelda games but the open world is awesome. The graphics are a bit out dated but that gives it the nostalgic "zelda" feel. The included book gives a look back at the Zelda franchise. One of the best games out for the Switch.

A great game, and nothing like the older Zelda games I've played. It's pretty open-world in comparison to other Zelda games, and the maps are absolutely massive. There's freedom to roam and explore, which you'll definitely want to do since the graphics are stunning, and the storyline is gripping.

This is a must-play Switch title for both existing Zelda fans as well as new players. Climbing up the mountains and paragliding down with an amazing view is my favorite part of this game, and I also like the concept of open world where I can make progression in the order I want. Best Zelda thus far!

Breath of the wild is a true masterpiece that goes beyond not only in game play but story as the beautiful surroundings immerse you into its world you end up sidetracking looking for new places and enemies to see adding hours to its story. I recommend the DLCs as it just makes life better.

Breath of the Wild is so far the best Zelda, which will be unforgettably written in the history of open-world games. An open world full of big changes, Breath of the Wild also almost always feels like a Zelda game — and establishes itself as the first current, vital-feeling Zelda in years.
