Fun gameplay with my son and able to complete the game and open up free play on all levels with different lego characters making the game feel fresh and new even after it has been beaten. Picked it up for a christmas gift on black friday for $20. Great price.

Bought for my sons (ages 4 & 7) and they love it. Easy enough for the 4 year old and challenging enough to keep them engaged.

Wacky Lego Fun, Great for the Family

My family and I played the demo and instantly decided to purchase the full game. Lego series action games are fun and challenging, and can be enjoyed by children of all ages, including my 33-year-old self.
My daughters, ages 6 and 4, can't get enough of the game. It follows the movie pretty well and adds a few elements that are not in the movie, but are welcome additions. Some levels are a little tough for my girls, and even for me, but we manage to find a way to pass them.
Saving your progress could be easier, though. If I'm not mistaken, completing a level automatically saves your progress and after reaching a checkpoint, you need to manually save at a kiosk. The last two times that I loaded the game after a kiosk/checkpoint save, I was brought back to the beginning of the level. Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't want this to happen every time.
Another drawback is after completing a level, you're brought back to a free play hub and need to find your way to the next level, which makes it a mini-level in itself. This is not so bad, but when young kids don't understand this concept, it can lead to repeating earlier levels in the form of inadvertently selecting free play.
All in all, it's a fun game and it has piqued our interest in other Lego action games.

This is one of the more tolerable Lego games. The VO is great and the gameplay matches what you see in the movie. The best part is the music. Whoever composed for this game did a great job. But like most Lego games, it's simple to the point of boredom - so unless you're playing with a huge Lego fan or a child you may be looking for something more.

My kids and I love playing this game. It's easy to understand and fun to play. The movie clips that play along the way and that can be unlocked are terrific. The game is challenging but not impossible and I think we will be looking for hidden items for a long time!

Got it on sale and for that price it is a great value. Will be interesting for all ages. I still haven't seen the movie but game is designed to capture you in it and keep you engaged at all time. Fun both as single player and multiplayer.

If you've played the previous LEGO games and enjoyed the LEGO movie, you'll love this game. My five year old has played this to completion with only a little help here and there from big brother or dad. It is also fun to play co-op.

My kids have enjoyed playing this game, it covers a lot of the same ground as the movie, while having graphics that somehow look just like the movie, bricks and all! (oh, wait, I suppose that wasn't too difficult.)

My six year old loves playing this game. He enjoys working his way through the levels and collecting new characters to play as later. Very seldom does he ask for a little help and then quickly takes the control back when I try to play for a minute longer.

using many cutscenes from the movie, the game is a lot of fun for kids. It is a little annoying how there aren't clearer instructions sometimes how to advance, but the kids seem to figure it out OK.

This is another great lego game. I am playing with my 5 year old. There are a few parts that are harder to figure out, but I think that's happening in all newer lego games. Still a ton of fun!

The Lego Movie game is based on the same type of game play as all the other Lego titles. Completing levels, gathering studs and unlocking items. It's fun and worth picking up if you liked the Lego Movie and like the style of game play.

I purchased the Lego game because it was a lot easier to master the controller when playing it. I watched and got enjoyment out of seeing the user learning too, very good game.

It's pretty fun if you enjoyed the movie bc it's exactly the movie except with a couple things cut out. I enjoy the newer Lego games, like the avengers, better though as they've really worked out all the kinks

So much fun for any age. I'm in my 30s and enjoy playing this as much as any kid does I'm sure. It's nostalgic, cute, and lots of fun.
