This is unabashedly an SMT clone. The story is almost incomprehensible, but the dungeon crawling is serviceable and entertaining. If you are into dungeon crawlers, this one should keep you busy a while.
Note, dinged one of those stars because there are some bad bugs. Search the internet for those before starting. Load times are also noticeable when navigating between dungeon floors.

First Person Dungeon Crawler Meets Pokemon

The Lost Child is a bit of a unique experience. It marries first person dungeon crawling with a capture system similar to Pokemon style games which makes for an odd yet fun mix. Can be enjoyable, I do recommend it for fans of JRPG's but it won't be for everyone.

A lot of people are comparing this game to the persona series which I would say is fair if the persona game in question is Persona Q but this game stands on its own. Definitely look into it if you are fan of 1st person dungeon crawlers.

As a big fan of El Shaddai I was quite excited for this game, especially as it als imitates Shin Megami Tensei, but it's an average game all on its own. Nothing special tbh.

This game is alright. The art is okay, the dungeon layouts are alright, and the difficulty is about right. The main issue with this game is that it doesn't really stand out from other games in the genre.

Wonderful "Persona"-esque JRPG

The Lost Child is a JRPG which play very similarly to games in the Shin Megami Tensei Persona series. Granted this title doesn't have the style and aesthetics that Persona has, in the end The Lost Child is still a fun and enjoyable dungeon crawler. If you've played Persona and are itching for a portable JRPG, definitely give The Lost Child on the Switch a try.

It's basically a SMT clone, but there's nothing wrong with that. I feel like it tides me over until the Switch SMT gets released. The art is great!
