Great action film for the movie Buffs! Would recommend

I watched these titles again after a period of maybe 10 years, and they still seem pretty watchable and relevant. The first movie is still the best, as that ended with the possibility that the franchise could go anywhere. The sky was literally the limit. The sequels, however, were constrained in their story telling, and limited Neo's potential to really shape the world as he saw fit. However, the sequels were the logical progression of the machine-Zion war, and thus, in that regard, it succeeds in finding a suitable resolution to the conflict that has raged on for god knows how long. Some of the dialogue seems to be cheesier sounding nowadays, and are written to sound more intelligent than they actually are, but hey, its a movie(s). For Sci-Fi, one really cannot go wrong with this set.

I recently purchased The Matrix Trilogy & I was totally satisfied with my purchase... The first Matrix Movie alone was awesome in addition to the endless action that progressed in action and adventure throughout the Trilogy... This Blu Ray version of The Matrix Trilogy was unreal between the audio & clarity of the entire Trilogy... I would definitely recommend this purchase to family & friends... The only other thing that can beat this is the 3D version of this Trilogy (if there is one) in addition to BestBuy bringing back "UPGRADE & SAVE" for additional savings!!!

Very good movie series and very original. I kind of wish it was real.

My internet service was out for a day, so I decided to go old school and buy a Blu-ray to watch. I decided on The Matrix series, as it is a classic in my mind. In a few more years, no one will know what a hard line is anymore, but despite the dependence on this aging communication vehicle, the plot of this movie is still great. In addition, as I explained to my wife, it is a love story with a sci-fi base. She did not buy that, and I ended up with just me and my popcorn, enjoying this trilogy all over again.

A Classic trio of great and imaginative Sci Fi films!

The Matrix was a totally mind blowing movie when it was released in 1999 and it still is even 15 years later. The two sequels are not bad, just not as good as the first film, still they are good and well done. Was able to get the triple feature pack of all 3 films for a steal - $9.99! The visuals, special effects and layered story you remember are all here in HD, so enjoy The Matrix trilogy as it was meant to be seen. I'm sure a 3D version will be coming in the future, perhaps the 20th anniversary release?

I've had these movies since they were first released on DVD. They're a go-to movie marathon choice during a sick day. I never pulled the trigger on the Blu-Ray versions since the DVDs always suited me just fine. When I happened to be wandering around the store searching for things I couldn't live without (but just didn't know it yet) I stumbled upon this combo pack on Blu-Ray for a great price. Snatched it up and now I'm eager to watch it just like it felt when I saw them all in the theaters!

I believe that if anybody has had the misfortune of not seeing this movie series yet, now is a great time! Especially through Blu-ray experience. It adds to the fight scenes and science fiction concepts. I got two pills for you to take, take the blue pill, you stay with the regular eh version of dvd or not seeing the movie at all. Take the red pill and you'll not only see the movie, but see it through the eyes of the matrix. What are you waiting for, take the red pill.

The Wachowskies award-winning 'Matrix Trilogy' - includes The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions. The Trilogy starts with a computer hacker (Neo) who learns from mysterious rebels about the true nature of his reality and his role in the war against its controllers - and ends when the human city of Zion defends itself against the massive invasion of the machines, as Neo fights to end the war.

Just got the recent 4K version of the of Matrix so I figured that I would go ahead and get the whole series. Can't wait to see if they release the rest of the series in 4K. If you haven't purchased the 4K release of the Matrix I strongly suggest you do. It looks wickedly awesome on my Sony 55" A1 OLED and so do the rest of the Matrix movies!!!!!

This film changed my vision of the cinema in 98 and considered that it is a movie that should be enjoyed along with a good TV in Blu-ray and with a good audio system, excellent price for the 3 chapters a jewel of cinema with its famous Bullet effect that changed the way the cinema never got bored seeing it so many times and it is necessary to have it at home

It has been quite some time since watching the Matrix movies. Fun to watch these movies again and to watch these in the quality of Blu-ray. It has become my goal and desire to invest in my favored movies into the Blu-ray forum. The quality of Blu-ray is so worth the extra investment in my opinion. My old favorites are especially great in the high definition.

The first Matrix film is one of my favorite films of all time. I'm not a big fan of the two following sequels, but you kinda feel the need to watch them after seeing the first one. The quality looks great on blu-ray and it includes many of the featurettes. Does not include the Animatrix animated film, but I'm okay with that. Great price for three films.
