1st Maze Runner kept me interested. Also, hooked me into buying the sequel. Expanded on why they separated these kids from the population. Not too original with the evil creatures - hope they would have been more cleaver. Cliff hanger ending - will probably see the third installment of this series. Best Buy had a free movie offer with purchase of this movie - can't beat that.

Ever since Twilight was a huge financial success, studios have been trying to strike gold with movie adaptations of young adult novels: Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games, and the Maze Runner series. The Scorch Trials is a decent continuation of the Maze Runner series. While not cinematic gold, it's worth a viewing.

I never saw this in theaters, but I bought the Blu-Ray, because I owned the first Maze Runner on Blu-Ray. This was an enjoyable movie. The first film is better, but this movie is kinda messy by the time the middle started. There was too much going on or so much action was added that just appeared out of nowhere. I still had a good time & I can't wait for The Death Cure in 2017.

While I didn't read the book series (yet), I felt it is a great follow up to the Maze Runner movie. However it did leave a lot of questions with all the infected. Plus the dialogue took a turn for the worse compared to the first. It is like they can't wait to get to producing the 3rd movie, they forget to write the 2nd movie.

Scorch Trials does a good job of telling the middle of the story. The twist t the end sets up the next film. I use hope they don't drag it out into 4 films like so many other YA movies lately. If you bought Maze Runner you'll probably want this one, but wait till the price goes down or watch it on tv.

This movie sucked and was so lack luster. I thought for sure it was gonna be great because of the first flick but this movie was less action more dialogue and boring. I fell asleep 2x trying to get to the end. Not looking forward to the the 3rd installment.

The story picks up pretty much after the end of the Maze Runner, so that is a good thing. However, I think we have seen too many Zombie movies by now and leaving you hanging at the end seems to be the norm now days. Decent movie from an entertainment value, but I was not impressed.

After enjoying Maze Runner, I was interested in what the next development would be. I was disappointed in that the movie did not answer any of the questions posed in the first movie. More than that, the plot was somewhat disjointed with too much action and too little focus.

I had not seen the first Maze Runner but when I saw this at Best Buy I decided to give it a shot. The film was not hard to follow if you have not seen the previous entry in the franchise, it had pretty good special effects, a solid story and some good acting on display.

If you have seen the 1st one I believe it's better how the sequel is going so far. Just don't really care about how they make 3or more movies that go together. All they are trying to get now days is your money. But overall I can't complain about this sequel so far.

I'm a big fan of the book series, and the first movie. I wasn't a fan of how they made the characters basically zombies to go along with the current Walking Dead fad. The book was quite a bit different in that regard and overall much better than the movie

The first one was ok. This one was worse but I powered through for the special effects. I've already bought Death Cure but I'm not ready to suffer through it just yet. I think I'm way too old for this.

If you're into "teen" post apocalyptic movies (and all of their sequels), well here's another one! The lead actor got hurt so it's unclear when (or if) the third installment is coming out. It's the usual storyline, plot twist, and cliffhangers...

Honestly, this was a gift for my stepdaughter, so I have no idea how good or bad this movie is. My stepdaughter absolutely loved this movie though, so for any of you contemplating this purchase, my 16 year old stepdaughter would highly recommend it.

We watched the first movie in the series so we had to see this but I must say, is anyone else getting tired of the zombie genre? The movie is fine and entertaining, I was just disappointed to find we had committed to yet another zombie movie.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials This is the second film in the series and fits in well where the other left off. However this type of film isn't my favorite genre/theme. Great for the younger/teenage audience that it is targeted for.

Thought there were a few too many plot tangents. (Did we need to go into the club and experience a bum trip?) Will definitely watch the next installment to see if they improve. There is good potential for an exciting action series.

Good movie, but the kids were scared of the zombies. The zombies were similar to Wil smith's movie I am legend. No mazes this time like in the first movie. The constant changing maze was my favorite part in the first movie.

This was an okay squeal, it was definitely not as good as the first film but worth a watch, it has good features. I really like that it came with a ITUNES digital copy I likely would not have bought if it did not.

In my opinion the Hunger Games was much much better. The special effects were good. Very repetitive story trying to find a way out then back at night repeat. I will wait for the next installment to make a final judgement.
