    I only saw one of the DVD's so far. This brings back good memories. I used to watch this program as well as In Concert and enjoyed both shows. It is great seeing all these great artists when they were at there top. All performances were done live no lip singing here which shows the talent of these performers. If you enjoy music then I would recommend this box set.

    Actual Live performances by great musicians of all types. Really some wonderful music, images and memories. This Best Buy price beat the As Seen on TV price by 50%

    This is a must have for any classic rock fan. Great live performances that aren't lip synced.

    I enjoyed view the dvds from the Midnight Special Shows from the 1970"s. When putting each disc together, they should have combine time periods instead having the Midnight Special theme song showing before each performer. It was hard to follow and very distracting. The disc did not flow. It was great looking at the past.

    Before cable and MTV, this was one of the few shows dedicated to Pop/Rock music on television and you had to wait 'til 1:00 a.m. to boot! Singer/songwriters, soul/R&B, rock and pop, most songs were played live on stage, (not videos or lip-synced) it was amazing! A great historical record, I loved seeing these again after so many decades. Will there be a volume 2?
