I saw this at a film festival in 2015 and it really rocked me. This is a perfect midnight movie; all out insanity. The story is lean and the characters are briskly walked through it, but this isn't supposed to be a drama, it's a war film. Like if Scanners had met First Blood. The score from Steve Moore is absolutely incredible, and I expect even more insanity from director Joe Begos down the road.

Though it does have a small budget, they still did a really good job with this movie, another example of decent throwback cinema made by people who clearly understand everything that worked in 80's horror cinema.

Having grown up during the 80's, The Mind's Eye is a good throwback. Brought back memories of how some films used to be. A lot of fun on a low budget. Definitely recommended!

Reasonably scary, this could be considered the first real sequel to "Scanners". A bit low budget but suitably both scary and gory, this is one to see.

It's been called the best Scanners sequel we never got, and I have to agree. Great practical fx, mostly decent acting, I'd call it a regret free purchase.

The movie was just okay, but the gore effects made it worth a purchase! For most though, my recommendation is to rent it first.

Joe Begos' follow-up to Almost Human is a very solid sophomore effort, a slow-burn, but a very good ride.

this flick is a throw back to david cronenberg's "scanners" with a little bit of brian depalma's "the fury" to boot. at times funny and gory, with good photography. the movie, however, falters with wooden and bad acting.

I'm the tradition of Scanners this is an awesome Sci-Fi film with a good storyline as well.

I thought that this was a very good thrilling movie. I was sitting on the edge of my seat.

If you've seen Almost Human the first film by the team that made Mind's Eye and had fun with it than I can't recommend Mind's Eye enough. One critic referred to it as "the best Scanners sequel we never got". i'd go along with that for SURE! From it's score to it's cast Mind's Eye is an awful lot of fun.

Really liked the plot to this campy movie. Glad I made the purchase.

Just what I have been wanting a good sequel to the movie Scanners! Alright it isn't a true sequel but it should have been. This is a great movie all be it low budget. Lots of gore for you gorehounds. If you liked Scanners? Check this out!

This movie was a solid entry in the mind horror genre that clearly took inspiration from Cronenberg. Bluray had cery good picture and sound.

TME is an awesome sci-fi horror throwback to the 1980s. If you like the film Scanners check this out. Starts slow but the last act is insane. Lots of blood and some great gore. Highly recommended to fans of the genre.

This movie takes me back to the glory (gory) days of the '80's with hard-hitting horror and the "Scanner" movies. For those who love and feel nostalgic for '80's style horror films, this movie is for you!

The tagline for this movie was "The best Scanners sequel we never got". Umm, no. While interesting if you could get into it, I didn't care for it. The effects weren't bad but just the whole story I just didn't enjoy. Almost like they were trying to re-do the first Scanners, poorly. Check it, if you like B movies, but I wish I bought something else.

Compared to 80's movie Scanners and can see why. Worth watch if you like the genre.

This was an above average low budget film. Has a very Scanners feel to it.

If you like gore this is a movie for you. Great special affects.
