The Lion In Winter and this Production is well worth mentioning as a classic that time should never diminish from viewing. The price for its quality was well worth the cost. I always look at the DVDs when I visit Best Buy to see if there are more of the classics in stock.

I have watched this movie several times. This is based on a true story about Helen Keller, who was blind and deaf and the teacher who brought her out of the dark world she lived in. It is sad sometimes but it shows the love and perseverance of the teacher who had to act tough in order to show her a better world.

Superb acting, great direction, editing etc. What a production. This movie is timeless and can be enjoyed many times over. These real life characters are portrayed with honesty and candor. Truly one of the greatest acting performances by every member of the cast. Excellent casting indeed.

Top quality actressing by Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke ... And a serious story good for the whole family ... But if you're addicted to action films & guns ... maybe you better skip this one ... Unless you're ready for an abrupt change of pace!

The story of the relationship between Helen Keller and her teacher Anne Sullivan. Who can forget the hilarious dinner scene. A movie the whole family can watch. Highly recommend this movie. A story of hate that turns to love and triumph.

This is a brilliant film all around, any way you look at it: writing, acting, the characters it's based on, cinematography, etc. I'm unable to think of an area where the film falls short in any way.

This dvd is a great movie. Suberb acting and Party Duke win an Oscar for her role! It's a movie classic that even today holds relevance in the human spirit overcoming physical disabilities.

I always loved this movie with Ann Bancroft as the teacher and Patty Duke as the student. A real challenge ahead as you will see in this movie of determination and inner sight.
