A very interesting movie. I'm glad I bought it and will need to rewatch. I'm glad it was on sale for $10. The picture is excellent, I had read somewhere to not stream because of the dark scenes and I see why, on disk it was well presented and what you expect from a 4k disk where it exceeds streaming in picture and sound.

It's hard to do any different take on the VIKING storyline anymore since so many imitators sprung up after the tv show was such a hit, but this movie made me sit up and say "wow", especially towards the end. The fight scene at the end was "300" like in it's visuals. Skarsgard is an excellent actor.

One of the best Viking dramas, filled with action, story-line, character development and more historically accurate than many depictions coming out. Just know it's not an action-all-the-time type of movie and darker than the popular TV series. I immediately wanted to rewatch it.

Well I’ve waited to see it but didn’t get a chance on the big screen but at home is just as good. 4k epic about Vikings, how can u go wrong! If you like to collect physical media, get this while you can. Someday I’m sure the discs will go away except at a resale. Go get it!

I very interesting revenge tale based on a viking legend that is akin to Hamlet but actually precedes it. Throw in some norse mythos and this is one memorable movie. It's no popcorn flick, but the acting and the plot is well executed.

Robert Eggers's The Northman was great. The story is a classic tale that inspired Hamlet, but the level of detail that Egger's put into the film is astounding. All the actors did a great job as well. I hope Eggers's continues to make movies set in the past.

Great film! Eggers offers an accurate historical retelling of Hamlet, through the lens of the Viking Berserker, Amleth. Great portrayals, Taylor-Joy, Dafoe, and Skarsgard stand out amongst a great cast. Beautiful visuals and soundtrack. Item was perfect.

The Northman is rhe best mocie of fhe ywar! Looks stunning in 4K and the brutal, viscreal action is amazing! Got it for store pickup and the pickup label on the alipcase was easy to peal off and they gave me a slipcase that didnt have any damage on it.

One of the year's best movies in what is sure to be one of the year's best 4k transfers. Robert Eggers' new film is arguably his best yet, featuring incredible cinematography and an unhinged performance from Alexander Skarsgaard. Definitely a must-see

Movie is a Hard R viking version of hamlet. (Proceeds hamlet, but it's more of an new original version, than the actaul story, which was always in flux anyways) Native 4K, beautifully shot. Good atmos mix. Dolby vision is a stand out.

Beautiful looking film and a great, although a little conventional, story. The performances were great, and the cinematography was beautiful. This is honestly a demo where the desk especially if you have a high and TV.

Director Robert Eggers knocks it out of the park. Alexander Skarsgård was born for this part, Anya Taylor-Joy is great as always. The Northman tells a brutal story of betrayal and revenge, with amazing cinematography.

Epic. Refreshing to watch a movie with a decent budget get the chance to tell an epic revenge tale without having super heroes or Jedi in it. 4K disc looks and sounds fantastic.

Amazing movie. You need this in 4K to get it’s true glory. Was shot on film and digital film. All made into 4K. Experience the detail and rich color, trust me. Shipping and handling was great too.

I was pleasantly surprised by the film. Starts out a little slow but then picks up after the first 30 min. Made me not want to stop watching. Thr crystal clear 4k really complimented the beautiful scenery. Definitely worth buying.

A masterpiece film that only suffers from not being accomodating to all viewers in its historical and artistic style. This is not the Viking movie for the popcorn crowd yet this is the Viking movie I've been waiting for!

Great Movie. Despite some elements of the film being skipped it was great. The cast was amazing besides Nicole Kidman of course. But ther than that very enjoyable. Happy i got the 4k version

I love this movie , similar to Vikings but more raw description . Definitely awesome in 4k , which I mainly go for for visuals , it’s definitely should buy for your collection , overall a lot of action and adventure

A straightforward violent revenge film with great performances. There is some brutal hack and slash in the film so be prepared. Great presentation with nearly perfect AV and some good extras

Looks stunning in 4K! I wish there was a steelbook release for this. I’m sure there will be one down the line. The story did drag a little bit for me. Overall, an amazing film for 2022. Robert Eggers third film impressed me for sure
