A great movie, if not a bit weird and slow. You'll definitely have to temper your expectations if you're looking for an action film, as this is more about ideals and slow revenge.

In my opinion, this is the best Viking movie ever made. Definitely not for everyone, but extremely well done by the director. It has just the right amount of folklore and mystery.

Very realistic Viking movie but not what you might expect ,there are battle scenes and there very brutal and realistic but not a lot. Movie will always hold your interest though. Pic and sound are great in 4K.

Solid story, digs deep into the nordic culture and plenty of action. Image and soli quality definitely a great disc in terms of image the sounds is solid for the action parts.

Great movie and the quality of the case and disc were top notch. No damage or defects. Special features were interesting and provide a look into the process and design philosophy of the movie.

Saw this in theater and was impressed. Good depictions of Norse mythology. It focuses more on a quest of personal revenge than large scale battles. Recommended if you’re into Viking lore.

Amazing film and great 4k transfer. This movie is not everyone's cup of tea, I get that. But if you're a fan, skip the Blu-ray and go straight for this 4K UHD. Recommended!!

Very similar to that of Conan movie. Same premise. From acclaimed director Robert Eggers, The Northman is an epic revenge thriller that explores how far a Viking prince will go to seek justice for his murdered father.

The movie was so great. In away it seemed like a history lesson. Everything is presented as facts. It was nice to get a sense like that. Plus the action is great and the acting was great too.

I just wanted to start off with that the movie was decent. I had read the reviews and they all seemed positive in regards to the movie and story line. I must say i was a little disappointed, the story line was ok at best, i had expected a little more action and maybe a few more fight scenes would of been nice. What they did have were ok at best, i would put this in more of a drama than action type movie. There were times the movie dragged on and could of been better. All in all i would give it 3 stars. My recommendation would be to rent it first on a streaming service before deciding to purchase.

This movie isn't for everyone so I would say do your research on whether you expect you will like it. If you think you will then the 4K is the only effective way to watch it.

Brutally marvelous. Hate, revenge, fury and spilled blood, a pretty accurate look back at history. Story is powerful, and the acting, on the whole is terrific.....

The Northman 4k disc was prestine. Much better than streaming. I highly recommend a purchase on this disc for the technical merits and movie itself. Came with slipcover which was a plus.

They dont make epics like this very more. Feels like the viking verionnof Ridley Scotts Gladiator. Its not as good, but it’s enjoyable and looks amazing in 4k

It is a shame this movie didn't catch on at the box office because it is stunning and immersive within the North Mythology + breathtaking cinematography featuring Norway and Ireland.

After seeing the witch and the lighthouse, I knew Eggers had a great future ahead as a talented filmmaker. This movie is no different and in fact much better than his 2 previous films.

Do not steam this movie it does not do this movie justice. This movie is definitely worth picking up on a 4K disc the sound quality is great and 4K visuals on this film is awesome!

The movie itself isn't fully for me, but I think this is definitely a great 4k disc. The soundtrack is awesome to listen to and everything looks gorgeous!

Like all of Robert Eggers movie, this felt like a epic poem come to life. It's hard to say if someone else would enjoy this film, but I'd recommend for anyone to watch it for themselves.

I love alexander skarsgård and everything he does. Lost of symbolism and amazing locations in this film. Dont bother if you're not a thinker or not interested in vikings.
