Excellent film. One if my most favorite. Stellar cast.

Awesome movie,came sooner than I expected and for a right price.

The Patriot on 4K UHD Blu-ray is simply stunning. I had only seen the film once before in HD and the 4K presentation is absolutely a gorgeous upgrade. There is a fine layer of film grain here, but the detail and depth of the picture puts you in the middle of the action whether it be in the farmlands, inside the tents, or on the battlefields. I saw no banding or artifacts watching this on my LG OLED. The scenes in the swamps with the blue hue are so clean and every sunrise or sunset on the prairies is just stunning. The fires are lush with reds and oranges that give off an intensity without being blown out or losing detail. This is an epic film with the run-time to match. It looks great here.

Look past the historical inaccuracies and you will find a very entertaining film with great performances. People seem to think that because a film is "based" on true events, it has to be 100% historically accurate. HAHA. It's Hollywood people. Sit back and enjoy.

This film looks like it was shot at most 5 or 6 years ago and they added grain to make it look older. Great ambient sound as well. Incredible transfer! A must have is you like the movie.

The Patriot comes to life in this 4K Ultra HD field with a lovely HDR10 presentation, a highly-satisfying Dolby Atmos soundtrack, and a new assortment of supplements.

This was already a great movie but seeing it in 4K was incredible. You have to get this 4K movie to add to your collection. I highly recommend this 4K movie to everyone.

Mel Gibson and cast portray an unforgettable story of a family caught up in the American Revolution. This film always makes my heart wrench.. absolutely a must watch!

This movie is such a classic. Was thinking of movies I wanted to add to my collection and this one popped in my head. Great storyline and good action.

This makes my old VHS and Bluray look 20 years older. The colors are perfect and the HDR really is something that you can just focus on.

The Revolutionary War done right. Mel Gibson(literally) kills in this American Revolution classic! It's simply perfect. 11/10.

The plot is quasi-historical entertainment. I wouldn’t want this to substitute for lessons in American revolutionary politics or society, but it certainly gives life to the period portraying some dramatized encounters between colonialists and their English rulers. There is no effort to recreate the period dialect or the 18th century society but you don’t buy this movie for its accuracy. It's got Mel. The 4K HDR (UHD) imagery approaches the best presentation available from film. On a 120” projected image with 4K projection, you can see finely detailed textures in the fabrics, the facial imperfections and makeup of the actors, and brilliant fields of green, forests and colorful uniforms. The extremely fine grain of the original film lends credibility to the image. Most of this movie is certainly film based and not a digital recreation. It looks almost 3D in its depth of shadows and color. It’s well worth the upgrade. The sound is solid, with thundering bass from your subwoofers when called upon and very easy to follow dialog. It’s worth an upgrade from Bluray or a first purchase in 4K. You won’t be disappointed. Just be aware of the intense battle scenes if you’ve got youngsters.

Great addition to my 4k collection. The cannons really boom and make you feel like you were there.
