Being a fan of the original. This wasn’t bad. Actually kind of fell for it. Liked it for the most part except maybe the end where certain elements of it were a bit far fetched. Considering the military aspects. .

Despite negative reviews by critics, this movie turned out to be pretty good. The action was steady, but more importantly, there was a lot of humor spread throughout. Character interactions worked well together. Transfer to 4K was good, and Dolby Atmos Surround Sound was excellent.

Had really high hopes for this latest installment in the Predator franchise largely based on the involvement of Shane Black. Black wrote Lethal Weapon and in his hey day was the highest paid screen writer in Hollywood ,whilst some of the movies he wrote failed at the box office

The Predator (2018) is nothing like Predator (1987)…And, that is exactly what is so awesome about this film! I went into viewing The Predator disgusted that Hollywood keeps regurgitating and remaking everything that has already been made. I came out of viewing The Predator, however, feeling thoroughly pleased from all the surprise departures from the original. The Predator was very creative and original (and funny!). As an added bonus, Best Buy’s limited edition SteelBook has incredible cover artwork.

Been a fan of the Predator franchise and this one is good overall but not great. There are bits and pieces of comedy and not really action-centered as before, making it fall short for me in my opinion. Nonetheless, good movie to throw on a 4K tv with a Dolby Atmos soundbar

OK, not counting the Aliens vs Predator this was the third installment of the Predator story line and it was every bit as good or even better than the original. The production values of this movie are excellent. The story line is a bit confusing but it becomes clear as it moves along. I enjoyed the two female heroes and was surprise to see one of them was Yvonne Strahovski from the Chuck tv series. Olivia Munn is the primary butt-kicker. Overall, I really enjoyed the movie.

This is completely different than the other Predator movies. It is very good with the story and the action. I am disappointed with the cursing because it is so constant I believe it becomes a distraction from the story. The language aside I really enjoyed the Movie.

Don't know why there were so many low ratings. They have to remember this is a science fiction movie and nothing is real. When humor is thrown in with special effects and slashing, what more do you want from a horror movie. Lots of gore action and very entertaining

This doesn't really touch the original but maybe it's just me being nostalgic.The story isn't gonna blow you away but you're really here for the action and this movie will definitely deliver.

Given the lackluster Predator movies since the original its nice to see something worthwhile come up. Not only does it expand and create a valid story going forward it brought some humor and life into what had previously been a series of 1 dimensional characters.

Nice and bloody like you would want in a Predator movie. Liked the little easter eggs from previous movies. Only down fall would the unnecessary amount of jokes trying to make light of what should be a more serious movie. Save some of the jokes for a comedy.

I honestly think this is the second best of the series besides the first one with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Very entertaining and I love the new characters which made it both funny and balanced. I've watched all the predator movies so my opinion is based on all the series. The storyline makes you think that the original predator was not a bad creature compared to the new one that hunting it. I dont want to spoil it for everyone but I feel the movie is worth watching.

I believe it's a good enough to watch once, but not again. There was a lot of action. Comedic parts can be better. Not as good as the original if you were hoping for that. Story that made me loose interest causing me not to pay attention on some parts.

I'm gonna be honest here, the movie is entertaining, it has action from start too finish, the huge predator is brutal and great and the explanation that why the big evolved predator and the regular one are at war is a good one. Now lets go to the bad stuff, the loonie characters are awful there not relatable at all, the only one that its a little passable was was Nebrsaka William the rest was awful. Quinn Mckenna was good but not great the same goes with Casey Brackett and the rest forgettable like the rest of the loonies. Even if i give it a 3 out of five I understand why its a hated movie, cause the worst is that is so funny that you don't feel the suspense of the first three films.

This is a fun movie that doesn’t take itself seriously at all. That’s kind of a good thing being the 4th in the series. The characters are great and helps you forget the story is not so good. Some great action scenes and a good score.

some over the top acting but a good setup movie for the predators to come back again. good shoot um up movie, a bit bloody but special effects are niicely done. wont win awards except for special effects but a must see for predator alien fans

Not just another in the series that is totally predictable five minutes in. This action packed thriller is unique and unpredictable with fantastic characters that bring it to a whole new level of cinematic pleasure in many unexpected ways

I recently watched the this movie on 4k andball I can still is wow, what a movie. If you not into movie like predator you need to watch this in 4k. That being said, the story line could have been better, but it is still good movie to watch

Obviously not a follow of the previous Predator movies except for the main caracter, reason why I see low rating and bad reviews probably, plus the funny goofy moments that a lot of people don't get. I'd say that the fisrt Predator (w/Arnold) and Predators (with Adrien Brody) are my favorites, but The Predator met my espectations. Not to mention, the most action packed I’ve seen so far, the acting and FX are awesome. I love it!!!

Overall I loved the original Predator movie the best, yet this one comes close with good acting decent storyline and lots of action! More CGI than preferred and the series is getting a tad stale, yet still highly recommended.
