DVD will not play in my DVD player.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm sure the 2nd season is as good if not better than the 1st season, which was really good BUT I have ordered the DVD twice from BB.com and it will not play in my DVD player. I keep getting an "incorrect disc" message. Returned both to my local store which does not have them available in store. Giving up for a while or will maybe try another vendor. Has anybody else had this problem? I think maybe they used blu-ray discs instead of standard DVDs.
