Inspirational Sports Film
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the deepest and most thought provoking of all hockey films, The Rocket tackles heavy issues such as life during WWII and discrimination against the French in an NHL on the brink of folding. However, the message never gets too muddled or heavy, and there is always a large dose of superbly filmed hockey to balance the mix, chock full of cameos by NHL stars.
