One of my favorite movies. I just love Wes Anderson as a director. His vision on how a movie should be filmed makes this movie one of my favorites

I fully believe Wes Anderson is a cinematic genius. He may have a dry sense of humor to some but the journey he takes you on any film is well worth having a few jokes fly over your head. Maybe he's saving those jokes for multiple viewings of his work.

The film still stands as a Wes Anderson cornerstone, and his involvement with criterion in the fine details of the packaging itself, and the extras, really makes this version of the film a worthwhile purchase for such aficionados.

I bought this movie because I'm a big Wes Anderson fan and I love the way the package their movies and I was not disappointed by this purchase. The movie is beautifully remastered and it comes with some extra stuff which most movies these days do not.

Can not recommend this movie enough. For its time was unique and original, and to this day holds up. Fantastic visuals, performances, and soundtrack, a modern day classic that will be discussed for years to come.

It's one of my favorite movies of all time. Was $30, but for Criterion Collection, it was well worth it. Loaded with extras. Picture quality on the Blu-Ray is magical.

The story of a dysfunctional family full of oddball characters and personalities. Sounds like basically every family right? That is one of the strengths of the film. There are several layers and character plot lines that definitely resonates with day to day life. Very easy to watch and never boring!

The Criterion Collection never disappoints. This move is a classic, and the quality of the blu ray is phenomenal.

This is one of the better efforts from Wes Anderson but it does have the same feel of some of his other films. However, that is what many look for. If you like Anderson's style, this will please you.
