Saw this title on sale and discovered I didn't have it in my collection, so decided to get it. Was very happy with the purchase.

Loved this movie growing up. Nice to see it as a value purchase at Best Buy. Funny, heartfelt and a bit of startle hear and there.

This is simply one of those classic movies that you must watch. A great fun family movie.... Remember..... "You're killing me Smalls!"

This is an absolute classic that still gets the same enjoyment as an adult. And this new 25th anniversary edition is great - mini poster, booklet, and trading cards of the films characters. Note - without checking the package as I write this review, I can't confirm a new transfer but I can say I'm pretty sure it did receive a new one because it looked great when I watched it. Overall, if you don't own it, this is a great edition to buy. And if you already do and are considering double dipping on this then you must be a fellow collector and I can assure you will be happy you bought it.

my son watched this movie so many times the previous disc took a beating got it at great price with blu ray to boot

This was a great coming of age film that I cannot believe is now 20! My kids had never seen this, so I was excited to share the movie with them. Then loved the part in the movie with the monster dog, but I have to say that there is so much more to the movie than that. The movie is a great balance of humor and topics that kids today can relate to. The movie was well crafted and had a great cast. In watching this again I kind of question "where are they now" for a number of the cast members! This is a family fun movie that your whole family will enjoy, and this is a great commemorative edition to recognize the 20 great years since it first came out.

I have seen The Sandlot more times than I can remember, and yet every time I watch it, I still laugh at the "pickle" these boys manage to get themselves into, and their creativity in trying to solve the problem. It's a coming-of-age story set in a time when life was less complicated, and yet it's still relevant to us today. Plus, it's a story about baseball--and what American boy (or girl!), man, or woman doesn't like a good baseball-themed movie? Watch it yourself, then watch it with your kids AND grandkids--you'll be amazed at how The Sandlot appeals to EACH and EVERY age!

Good movie for kids and adults. Some parts are a little hokie but overall it's a good family movie.

Everybody should see this movie. One of those movies that can be fundamental to growing up.

this movie is one of the best movies i own on my whole shelf. its about a group of boys that play baseball. they hit a ball over the fence and have no more balls left. til one of them goes into his step dads trophy case. and grabs a ball signed by Babe Ruth. they hit that ball over the fence and will do anything to get it back from this viscious dog called the beast. it will have you laughing and watch it again and again i highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys comedy. i give this movie a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend to anyone.

great movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone. I watched it when I was a kid

I remember the time when my dad showed me and Ben of this movie from blockbuster stores, when I was 9 years old and right before, they went out of business in 2014. My favorite scene is when, squints kissing Wendy peppercorn from fake drowning on the pool deck. I laughed so hard when the beast is actually a English mastiff dog chasing Ben Franklin Rodriguez after retrieving a baseball in the backyard.

I loved this as a kid and it holds up pretty well many years later and the blu Ray transfer only adds to its essence.
