    I remember when I first watched this after I started working at Captain D's 22 years ago. Watching Smalls as a misfit at the beginning reminds me of myself when I first started a new middle school. But watching him fit in with the baseball kids also reminds when I fit in ROTC in high school. Plus, watching them retrieve a valuable baseball from the huge dog is so funny, not to mention the prank on the lifeguard WENDY PEPPERCORN, played by MARLEY SHELTON.

Relive your childhood and introduce your kids to the awesomeness that is The Sandlot, gauranteed to make you watch longer and laugh harder. "Heroes get remembered, but Legends never die.     Took me over 20 years to watch this movie. As a old school baseball fan, I stayed away from this movie. Serious mistake. Like taking your children to Wrigley Field or Fenway park, "The Sandlot" is a must watch for all generations. Underrated cast, well woven plot and backdrop of early 60s nostalgia make this a winner. You don't have to like baseball to enjoy this movie, if you cherish your childhood days and want to be entertained this is your movie.
