Awesome game with a few little glitches like occasional one of my characters keeps disappearing. On one occasion two parents both wanted to complete an action with the infant child at the same time and the child kept disappearing and reappearing in the other parents arms and eventually the child disappeared completely and the parents arms bent straight backward until I rebooted the game.
All in all though I love the game and the overall play is exactly what I would expect from the next generation of sims.

takes a bit to learn the controls but once you do its an amazing experience. was so happy to see this finally come to the consoles after many years. Includes dlc you'd usually have to pay for in base game on pc. My wife loves it lots of customization and tons of hours and fun to be had

It is a fun new Sims games that offers a lot of new ways to customize your character, etc. The controls took a little getting used to though which is why I gave it 4 stars.

I bought this game for my nieces, and they love it. They enjoy the graphics and endless options. They usually play on their phones or tablets, but have become addicted to the Sims on my PS4 pro!

This game is the best. Different from PC but still just as great. Great deal as well. This is the base game so you will need this one to play any other expansion packs.

I got this for my daughter (10) as Xmas gift. She's loving it so much as she's able to create a family, build a house and play with them while learning some living skills (how much thinks costs and you need a job to pay for them :D )
It's not a learning game, but it's a funny one to keep her entertained while building houses and families.
She's not a gamer and she's just starting to play PlayStation, so don't expect this review to fit hard-core gamers or the ones going the extra mile with the games.

The Sims 4 will entertain you for awhile, but ultimately the console experience probably won't hold your attention for long. The controls feel awkward and the lack of content (player made mods and extra official expansions) in comparison to the PC version of the game hold it back.

I have been a Sims player since the beginning and this was the lonest wait I think we've had between console releases. It was worth the wait, creation mode is very detailed both for homes and characters, the only thing missing is pets.

A+ Game. Reminds me of the game as when I played it when I was very young. It is a very cool game. It actually even helps me be more social person and kind of excited to interact with people on the outside world in the same like fashion that I interact with people on this game. You will enjoy this game if you buy it. It’s hours of fun guaranteed. The ability to create a Sam and nurture and nature of them through their lives and find them friends and buy them homes and get them jobs and socialize them every day is such an exciting adventure

This was my first time playing Sims, and I am having a blast! It's so much fun to see all the options for interactions and just mess with the Sims. I generally play this game when I'm bored, because it is a huge time waster. The controls are a little bit weird, but they are very easy to learn and you quickly get used to them.
There are some minor issues: The game does stall a little but when I switch form live mode to build mode. Sometimes the game does seem to stutter, but besides that I have not hand any performance issues. .There is a lot of already available DLC which is annoying, but so far it hasn't detracted from the base experience.

I've always played Sims on my computer so this was the first time playing it on a console. The controls were a little tricky at first, but the more I play it the more I get used to it. It never lags for me or slows down and sometimes that would happen on my computer, so this is a bit of a step up for me.

The first time I loaded up the game, I wasn't even sure how to change my Sim's appearance. The game does give you tutorials, but it seems to be a bit buggy as to when it brings them up for you. I've also had small (non-game breaking) bugs while playing: Visiting Sims get locked into playing Chess and wont leave, pressing X sometimes don't bring up the action menu and I'm still not sure if my hired gardener is still hired after I turn off the game.
Besides those little annoyances, the game is even more intricate than previous Sims games. There's so much to do, many more aspirations and life goals, playing different instruments, careers branch off into 2/3 paths that lead to different end jobs. Once you spend some time familiarizing yourself with the controls, the game goes much more smoothly.
