Maybe it's because I'm not that big a fan of hip hop, but this guy's albums always seem OK to me. There's one or two really good songs, a couple of pretty good songs, and then the rest are kind of boring. Same as usual here. If you're not a fan of hip hop I recommend this album and the greatest hits one for Eminem.

This disc rocks!!!!! It is Eminem at his best, and I am glad that I finally on a disc of Eminems stuff!

As the introductory track warns, "the views expressed in this album are totally f***ed and are not necessarily held by anyone". This album is fraught with the gruesome and profane refuse of a brilliant lyricist's tortured psyche.

Eminem's first major album is most certainly his best. The production on these songs are timeless, and Em's lyicism is on point. If you are trying to get into his music, this is where you should start.

The Slim Shady cd was for my wife.I had this cd when it first came out. We both loved how Slim shady openly expressed how he really felt and we think its one of his best cds.

This is one of eminems all best cd's every single song on it is good and the guys at best buy help me to find and purchase it. I highly recommend if you like Eminem get this cd.

the slim shady lp is a classic to hear from beginning to end. it's a must have in your collection. it's hard to put a song into repeat mode.

This really gets to the heart of what it means to live on the wrong side of the tracks. Plenty of references to lots of what society wants to ignore, but shows just how detrimental those things can be to someone who wants to do right by the ones he loves.
