I would suggest save your money and acquire a strap that could be more handy.

Good enough for using hands free but not the best!

I absolutely loved this accessory when I was using it. I could change the camera orientation, rotate the camera, pivot the camera, etc., all while the camera was on my wrist (whether on the anterior or posterior part of the wrist). I took it to a theme park and it provided me with hands-free recording options that were not possible with other mounts (GoPro's previous wrist housing included). The problem I experienced, however, was with the rubber padding on the underside of the plastic housing that makes direct contact with the wrist. After only a couple days worth of use, the rubber padding began to pull away from the plastic and tear. Be careful when putting the strap on and taking it off... The padding is held to the plastic by an adhesive that seems to be relatively weak. For an accessory marketed to active use, I found it to be less than robust in surviving modest use (the act of putting the strap on and taking it off was enough to damage it). There are other wrist straps available from other vendors for substantially less money. I purchased a couple of them and they did not share this flaw.

I got this as a birthday gift for my son and he loves it . Very happy I got this he has gotten some really awesome shots with it

This mount is awesome I used it for my recent Orlando vacation the 360 degree rotation gave me and my daughter some great shots on the water slides at aquatica seaworld.

The strap is helpful for getting those unique pieces of footage that the Go Pro is so well-known for. My imagination is having fun trying to figure out all the different things I can strap it to to get that great shot! Can't imagine having this camera without this tool.

I purchased it for scuba diving. Allows me to still be able to use my hand while securing the GoPro.
