My daughter came across this book and i was told there is a movie. The book was a good read and the movie was just as cute. I enjoyed the story line behind it as well.

In all fairness, my wife loved the movie - I thought it was meh. As i have stated in earlier reviews; It is very important to have contrasting characters for good and bad to play off of each other. While the hero of this story may be cute and brave, the villains themselves were a bit bland. Most of the conflict our hero faced was in overcoming bad situations - which does nothing more than show us how the hero thinks and acts. The story and characters were a little underwhelming, but there may be others out there who would enjoy this one anyway. I would recommend this movie, but I would have to be selective on who to recommend it to. It really is not for everyone.

This movie is a delight to behold, and appropriate for children over 5. I've always loved it, and I was quite pleased to find it at Best Buy for such a good price.

My kids loves this movie. This movie is about a very brave little mouse who helps the princess. My movie came really fast and was packaged great.

My older child liked this movie as a youngster and recommended it to my youngest child and so we had to order the DVD version, which has been a hit!

The tale of Despereaux is a delightful tale about a mouse and his quest to help the Princess. Very entertaining with a good story line.

This movie is perfect fo my classroom and the kiddos love the story. I wouod recommend to everyone no matter your age! :)

I'm always on the lookout for age appropriate programming for my 5-8 year old grandchildren. This was a nice surprise.
