Do not take the title for this review as a caution before playing the game. It is in every way the best way the developers could have done a sequel to an already amazing game. Without giving away any spoilers, those familiar with the first game will find themselves at home with the gameplay and the philosophical themes utilized to tell its story. The added bonuses are the more open layouts of the areas in the game, the characters you get to interact and exchange conversations with (leading to choices that alter the story along the way), and the new devices that expand the possibilities in solving the puzzles. Some may say that a few of the puzzles are a bit rigid in their structure but it doesn’t take away from the level of creativity in each uniquely built puzzle. Others will also say the puzzles are more easier (I would say some are a tad too straightforward) but the game knows how to reward you with optional areas and hidden puzzles to find that will be harder than the main puzzles in the areas you explore. That isn’t to say that the main puzzles are easy; many are just as challenging too. All in all, I couldn’t ask for a better sequel.
