John Carpenter's retelling of the 50s classic, "The Thing from Another World" is still as exciting and entertaining as it was in 1982.

What else can be said about the thing. The collector's edition that I purchased from Best Buy comes with a lot of extra features for fans of the film. Try to pick up this version!

Awsome special effects not all cgi like todays movies just great overall

The Scream Factory edition of The Thing and it was worth the wait. Best Buy has made sure to stay in tune with all the right suppliers of special edition dvds and blu rays. A+

John Carpenters the Thing is one of the best movies of all time, and this bluray transfer makes it even better. There is a whole disc of awesome features.
