This Mystery Drama Suspense movie is as good as it gets. It answers the question: Who is Keyser Soze? The most feared and elusive mob boss who ever lived. An incredible cast too numerous to mention except for Kevin Spacey who won an academy award for best supporting actor. A crafty and carefully woven story, also won an academy award. You will fear Keyser Soze!

The average viewer who watches "the Usual Suspects" for the first time might think that the whole crew concocted him a meandering story with as a leading thread, Spacey's convoluted story. At the end of the projection, he may feel puzzled and will probably wish to watch the movie a second time. He won't regret it and Singer and McQuarrie will rejoice at it. Their masterwork gains by several repeated viewings to appreciate the subtleties of a rich movie with a convoluted construction which will take its seemingly definitive form in the five last minutes. To watch "the Usual Suspects" is like gathering the pieces of an intriguing puzzle, a little like any other suspenseful movie but in the case of Singer's flick, one will never really be able to completely end it. So many things happen in less than two hours that we are never really sure of what we watch and this is reinforced by a breathtaking unexpected twist at the end which makes our assumptions falter. Singer and McQuarrie take a mischievous delight in taking the viewer in their nebulous scenario and to follow it according to Spacey's declarations and it's obvious that they raise more questions than answers. It's up to the viewer to make his imagination work and to bring his thoughts on the film. This is what inspires its pernicious charm.

Despite the fact that both the director and one of the stars of the film might be facing their own lineups for sexual misconducts, this movie continues to be a true masterpiece of intrigue and suspense. The acting is superb and the script equal to none. I say is a must in any serious movie collection. Unbeatable price at Best Buy.

The package came in good condition and the film is amazing

This one NEVER gets old, and does not disappoint no matter how many times I've seen it. Decent BD image transfer (not world-shattering, but adequate). It's the performances and the dialogue that make this such a treat. And....it's dirt cheap.

I loved this movie when it first came out and had eventually bought it on DVD. When u saw it on blue-ray I couldn't let it pass me by especially for the price.

Awesome classic movie. Say what you want about kevin spacey but hes a great actor and people turned the cheek with michael jackson but hes white and lets erase him? America get your own rules straight please!

A cult classic for the crime thriller genre! A great movie that never gets old. I just showed it to a new generation of movie fans and they enjoyed it as much as I did when I first saw it a generation ago.

Replaced my old DVD version of the noir classic with this Blu-Ray. The mystery of "Keyser Soze" never looked better. Good video and audio and a bargain Best Buy price, it was well worth it.

This is one of those gangster films that is a must see for those that enjoy these films. It’s a classic with great acting.

This is one of those films that has aged but still a fantastic cult classic. Back when Kevin Spacey wasn't a creep. Worth it in any collection. Does feel a little dated but still great.

A great dvd version has now been upgraded into a great blue ray. Definitely worth upgrading to blue ray
