    New Season... New Location

Well, at this point, if someone is buying the most recent season of Adult Swim's The Venture Bros., that person is surely a big fan. After all, if a show has done six seasons in roughly twelve years, any viewer at this point must be dedicated. Still, the show itself continues to evolve and change with each passing season. With the show now set in New York and the boys in early adulthood, the only constant is change. So, reviewing the show won't really sway anybody. Perhaps a review of the supplements will do. The biggest draw, of course, is the special "All This and Gargantua Two." Acting a both the season five finale and the season six premiere, this episode is on the release and features an extended post credit scene which was only available online. Additionally, as is the case with every season from two on, each episode has an audio commentary. These, of course, are the standard commentary one would expect from a Venture Bros. commentary: Unrelated to the show. They're just conversations between writers Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer. If you've heard other commentaries, you know what to expect. They're entertaining if you enjoy just hearing two guys yak for a while. If you enjoy the show and its tone, then, Jackson and Doc should be to your liking. The release also contains a selection of deleted scenes from the entire season. Some of them are great. The rest are good. Also included is recap narrated by Henchman 21 and a collection of on-air Venture Bros. bumps. All in all, it's a worthwhile investment for any true Venture Bros. fan. The biggest issue? The long wait between seasons! Go Team Venture!

Venture Bros season 6 is probably the most intense one yet. Not only have the Venture clan changed locations, they're in a whole new world of Super-villainy that will push them to new limits, meanwhile, the Monarch discovers a dark secret about his family that will forever change his life. Brimming with humor and pop culture references, this season proves that Venture Brothers is one of the Adult Swim's best show. It should said, however, that the season is only 8 episodes long, a rather short season that may many starving for more. Still, the extras and the inclusion of the Gargantua-2 special should help satiate the thirst for VB action fans crave.

Listen, if you dig the Venture Bros., you already know what you're in for. If you've bought one of the previous seasons on Blu-Ray or DVD, you already know what you're in for. To those who haven't, every episode is chock-full of great commentary from visionary-chic creators Publick and Hammer, and there's always as much features as could be expected of a single animated show. I've never been let down by a Venture purchase.

I will start off with my only negative: it seemed like this season ended prematurely. The story lines were great, but they didn't have the usual end of season cliffhanger. However, on the positive side, I think the writing continues to get better, the move to New York for the Venture Clan definitely helps and overall Monarch and 21 as the Blue Morpho, really can't be missed!

I never thought that this series was getting stale, but the move to New York was a great idea. The story with the Monarch and his main man 21 becoming the Blue Morpho and Kano are worth watching alone. If anything, the season was too short. Oh and watch "all this and Gargantua 2" in the special features so you understand the move to New York first.

I have followed the Venture Bros. since it first came out in early 2000. The first few seasons were great. Great character development. Great stories. Just great. I like this season a lot but there really is just not enough show. If you like the show, the DVD/blu-ray is a must have. If you're new DVR it and catch it when you can.

Team venture is back this time in the big apple. with rusty back on top of the world of super science he's going to rely on his old body guard Brock in order to face a brand new gallery of rouge villains but lucky for our favorite narcissistic scientist he also has a mysterious stranger in blue looking out for him...

The Venture bros continues to improve with each season. Family Venture moves to NY and find themselves dealing with a brand new guild of calamitous intent. Commentary with every episode and includes the all this and gargantua 2 special. Its scientastic!

No problems with the product. The quality of the story lines make it worth waiting for. It is refreshing to see writers who don't try to push out the season on arbitrary schedules before their ideas have had time to work themselves out in their minds.

I haven't completely finished this season, but I'm loving it! Digital HD means I can put the bluray aside for now and watch it on tv without having to pull it out each time we turn on the tv. Still a great show! Great price is well worth it!

While the release for new seasons comes out glacially, this show is consistently top quality with a wonderful in-show universe that is very endearing to long term fans. I recommend all seasons for adults that are fans of animated shows.

Another great season! Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick continue to mine pop culture, comics, B movies, and more to produce hilarious satire. The in jokes are dense and plentiful. A dream show for geeks and nerds.

One of the best shows out there. Fun on so many levels that it is even hard to list them all. Started out of a take off of Johnny Quest then turned into a show of its own. For sure a cartoon for adults.

Love the Venture Bros. & all of the characters created for this series. Have been watching since season 1. The right director could make a great live action movie based on this fun series. Maybe someday.

Easily one of the best seasons of this show. Very well written, funny and a lot of character development. The only real down side to this season was the finale isn't very final.

Every season of this awesome animated masterpiece ramps up the action from the season before. The emphasis on the Monarch's family during this season's episodes is hilarious.
