Now that everything on TV and the movies isn't "all zombies all the time" anymore, we should all really appreciate the sheer and consistent quality, writing and acting of this series. It dipped in Season 2, bounced back at the end and has been superb since, while staying truer to the graphic novel series, as well. Nerds will always put this show in the Pantheon, people who like plain old good TV should, too. Very highly recommended to place on the bookshelf alongside seasons of Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Battlestar.

As the header says, this is truly one of the best shows on tv that's still in production. As Rick and the rest of the survivors live years after the plague began, here we see the survivors battle not only the dead but the living too; and experiencing alliances form and fall, thrive and corrupt, good and evil reverse, and the group continues to hang in the balance between the safety of the prison and the danger of the prison that has become the world. Five star rating. One of my favorite shows ever. :)

This DVD set is very nicely packaged with the usual amount of extras. The content is excellent. The writers stay true to the flavor of the comic while adding new details and characters to keep it interesting for the followers of the comic. Thrilling, heart breaking and wrenching. Carol's character in particular is as fully realized as any I have ever seen. Melissa McBride is quite an actress. There is not a weak link in this wonderful cast. Get in. Get hooked.

This is a great show. This season is the best yet. It really focuses on the individual characters, and really delves into the choices they make, and what that does to them as individuals. What does it take to survive in the apocalypse? Are you willing to do what it takes? Can you accept others after they've done what it takes? is surviving worth it if you lose your humanity? Awesome, difficult questions that are explored this season. The best yet!

Sure, it's just a fantasy, but zombie survival horror-wise, I've always held "The Walking Dead" TV series in high regard for conveying a sense of realism that no 2 hour zombie popcorn flick can match (an exception being the Ford brothers' "The Dead"). So far, this season has been the best yet - lots of tension, drama, a dash of humor, and of course, a good amount of scares. Much as I love it, I hope they will be moving towards a definitive solution/conclusion.

This is the best series on TV. Even with the absence of Andrea, who I thought was the best character, this show NVR fails to deliver. I have the whole set and plan on showing it to my grandkids when they are ready for a little horror in their life. Besides, I need them to prepare for when this really happens. I got a bunker all ready for said reason. Great show, I hope the real walkers move as slowly as the ones on TV, it'll make life easier. Good luck!

This season was the start of the shows downfall in quality

Good quality picture, but this season was the last good one

I love this show. I grew up watching horror movies, which were great, especially in the eighties when we had original ideas like Nightmare on Elm Street and Dawn of the dead. The Walking Dead is great horror combined with excellent characters and some of the best Zombie effects in the business. Season 4 shows the group on the run and separated due to conflict which splits the story up into several spectacular stories.

The merchandise is great. I am having problems with the rewards program. I have tried to pull up the site at home and receive error message. I believe I had a $10 certificate that I needed to use, but, not only could I not pull it up on the mobile ap, the clerk couldn't get to the site at the checkout either. I think I list that certificate. If you can't get to the site to use your rewards, what good is the program?

I have been a fan of The Walking Dead comic since almost the beginning of its run. Having said that, I do try to keep my thoughts and expectations stemming from the comic separate from the tv show. Season 4 made this pretty easy. This was a season full of memorable episodes. Some of the child actors are not the greatest, but the quality in all other regards more than makes up for that. I can't wait for Season 5!

I absolutely LOVE this limited edition box set. It is a must have for any Walking Dead fan! The blue ray for the season of the show has all you'd want including some great extras. The packaging itself is fantastic - the arm of the zombie moves when you insert and remove the blue ray package from its storage place and the zombie is everything a fan would come to expect from Walking Dead in terms of quality.

Thrill to the exploits of Rick Grimes and his group of Zombie-Apocalypse survivors as they make their way to the Alexandria Safe Zone - or is it? Surprises await as they navigate unknown threats - and this so-called 'safe' zone is not what it seems! If you have enjoyed the previous seasons of this award winning now classic horror story, then this season will be no different! Highly recommended!

No matter how many times you watch Season 4 of the Walking Dead, it never gets old. I've watched it over an over again. The characters draw you in, making you feel as if the Zombie Apocalypse is going on around you. With the introduction of new characters, you can't stop watching, even if it is just to see who survives. This is the best season so far, and it makes me want to watch Season 5 even more.

If you're not a fan of the Walking dead, then you're missing out. This special edition masterpiece is worth the money. I love taking the discs out and watching the zombie "watch me" doing so. This is also a great season to watch if you're following along or trying to catch up. A must have!

You are either a dead fan or you are not. If you are then you will love this season. I would tell you who dies but for those of you that haven't seen it yet, well don't want to spoil it. This is a series totally worth the price but start at the beginning so you get to know all the players.

...and goes places I had never expected. Nice! Certain things happen that allow groups of characters to spend time with people they normally wouldn't have, and it definitely makes for some interesting storytelling. Of course, if you've already watched through season 3, you know by the end of that whether or not you want to continue. I'm glad I did.

My "Walking Dead Limited Edition, Season 4, Boxed Set, looks great with my video game collectors editions I have on display in my man-cave. Since I collect things like that, I have only taken it out of the box once, since I want to keep it in mint condition. If you collect stuff like this, don't think twice about buying it. You'll be happy. I guarantee you that.

"The Walking Dead" has easily become my favorite show on television!! I was a little late to the party and watched the first 3 seasons on DVD to catch up, but the fourth season topped them all!! The acting was fantastic, the visual effects were top-notch, and the storylines kept me guessing to the very end. I can't wait for season 5 to begin in October!!

Great cast, directing, character development and story line. This is not just another campy zombie show. This is an enigma. We have all seasons. If you have not seen it, watch from season 1 episode one and keep going. You'll either be hooked, or you'll hate it, because that's just how it is with a show based on a zombie apocalypse.
