I have watched this movie at least seventy times. I bought this copy for enhanced audio. this movie still puts me on the edge of my seat.

This was a great movie in the theaters, and it is still a powerful fun piece of moviedom today. I enjoyed the director's, choreographer's, and actors' explanations of choices made, including the comic-style scene transitions, scene locations and methods used (such as circles of "gang members" running in opposite directions to depict hurried departure, and iconic moments (such as three bottles clinking together, with the sing-song "Warriors! Come out to pla-a-ay!"

Purchased for my husband, then given to our son. He was thrilled to get this since he had not seen it in many years. Still remembered the movie. In fact, entire family had movie night. (Not really recommended for young children-make sure it is after bedtime.)

A cult classic, well deserving of its status. To me, the story of how the film got made is almost as interesting as the film itself, but this is a great throwback to a time when films got made without any stars or a huge budget and could still be good or even great. Remember that?

Yes I can Dig It. This was a fast paced movie that takes place over the course of one night. All the gangs had different styles and personalities. You were really cheering The Warriors on throughout the night.

The remastered adds the comic cut aways. some say it ruins the movie. i say it adds just enough to make it more fun.

Great classic New York City movie depicting gangs controlling the 5 boroughs. Action through out the movie, colorful gang names , and an awesome soundtrack. I own the DVD and the upgrade to the fantastic blu ray picture quality was well worth it.

This is one of my favorite movies. I grew up watching this movie along with all my friends and family this is a classic and will never die out. I just love all the gangs and how different they are. Definitely a must see movie. Once you see it you'll get hooked.

From an era that could create movies without rehashing old movies like they do today this one stands the test of time. Without all the C.G.I. and glitz of todays offerings they focused on the story, and characters and created a classic.

This film was a cable favorite of mine during the 80's and is pure enjoyment for the style and simplicity of it. Video Quality = Very good - outstanding transfer Audio Quality = Slightly above average - the audio could use some muscle but is not bad Extras = Average - I would love to see an edition with a documentary. Overall, a good release that I am glad to have in my collection.

Completely dated but totally fascinating gang drama. Walter Hill was in the middle of a terrific film streak when he made this cult classic. Could never get made today, but that's part of its greatness.

This is the best old school, one of a kind gang movie. They just don't make movies as real as this anymore. I grew up in that era and it was spot on. Must own for everybody who grew up in the 80's. Timeless cult classic

Watched this for the first time just recently. It has 80's written all over it, which means it's great. It's one of those movies that if you haven't seen yet, do it now. Great flick to watch at any time!

This movie is a classic and should be in any movie collection.

1979 movie and my copy is perfect. I have been looking forward to seeing this movie again for decades.

Classic 70s movie highly recommend, my only problem with the Blu ray is that it only contains the director's cut and not the theatrical...... I wish it had both.

Classic cult movies from the late 70s. It's great to see how New York was in the 70s. The Warriors is a must see movie .
