Probably my favorite of all the great miniseries. Fascinating story of the Henry & Jastrow families, all set against the backdrop of the events leading up to World War II [with beautiful scenery from all over the world]. We also get to see the goings-on of the American & British governments & military, & also Hitler & his henchmen, as they plan & attack England, Poland, France, etc & attempt to "purify" the world of the Jewish population. If you watch this one, you should also get the follow-up, War and Remembrance, which continues the stories and concludes at the end of the war. Warning: both contain graphic scenes of atrocities.

It was a knock off redone in Mexico, that’s why cheap. Wish I would’ve shopped around and spent a little more and got her an original. The stories good but on this knock off their bodies looked extra wide like they were 50 pounds heavier

This is great television movie making, it's too bad the networks prefer cheap reality shows to creating good programing. If you didn't see this series when it aired originally, you should see it now without the commercials, it's well worth the investment.
