Awesome.........If you liked the first Witcher game, then you will love Witcher, Wild Hunt. Seems like all the stops have been pulled out when making this game. Some minor glitches, but nothing to annoying. Two games going on here. The Gwent card game is a must to get into. Once you get the hang of it, you will be hooked. Free world movement off the charts. Story line good. visual effects good. Watch the clock because it is easy to spend hours on this game without realizing you have played that long.

This is a fun game, I do not play a lot of games so my review probably will not help, it reminds me a little bit of Assassins Creed III, it allowed me to learn the game without ever playing the first two

This game is amazing. A deep, detailed world, that dares you to explore every corner. An engrossing main story, and countless side quests with more story in each one than half the games released today. I purchased this game the day it released, and haven't stopped playing it yet 3 months later. Great voice acting, beautiful graphics, challenging and rewarding combat. Plus you get the benefit of CD Projekt Red's dedication to the players. 16 free dlcs; mostly small, but still. Also, there is the promise of several paid story dlcs that are said to be 20+ hours each. If you purchase this game, the only regret you might have is that you may not have time for other games after playing it.

This game is perhaps my favorite game of all time. Geralt is a cunning character that you play as. All the characters around him are well voice-acted. Graphics are phenomenal in this game. Story and even side-quests are well written and enticing. Combat is fun and engaging. This is a game for adults (and yes that involves adult love-time) also includes witch-killing, rituals, and cannibalism. This is a set in a fantasy world which is open and a breathing, living place truly affected by your actions and decisions. You can get lost into it and immersed for hours.

I'm new to the series, but it hasn't restricted me from enjoying or following the storyline in Witcher 3 at all. The main storyline is pretty engaging and you could spend months going through side quests and exploring the massive map. The environments are gorgeous and rich with detail, and you get a sense of depth and history from each of the various districts contained within.
I started the game on its highest difficulty setting but lowered it twice as its pretty slow going at the top two levels. The combat mechanics are pretty much hack/slash/dodge/spell/repeat, but fun and animated well none the less.
As many have pointed out, the game glitches quite a bit (maybe they should've called it "Glitcher 3") but it's almost all graphical and doesn't really impact game play.
If your a fan of the genre or just like the idea of playing through a novel, than this game is Well worth the price of admission!

The Witcher: Wild Hunt is outstanding in scope and execution. Not only does it have the largest open world of any game I've ever played, it fills it with dozens of hours of meaningful and fun things to do. The story and combat are both deep and interesting and the world is filled with side quests that always feel significant. Not only the best in the series but maybe even one of the best RPGs ever

The world is deep, nuanced and complex-the embedded cultural biases, day night cycle and near seamless area transitions make the world feel organic. If you enjoy reading, there is a ton of background and world info available via books you can find. The writing and voice acting in most cases is very well done. The inventory and item management can be overwhelming at first, but once learned isnt too difficult to manage. The story is good-but my real enjoyment of the game is the open exploration, in the same vein as Skyrim. I also really enjoyed the preparation, investigation and research needed for the more difficult monster fights. The controls and camera leave a little tombe desired, but dont really detract from the enjoyment of the game. The built in card game Gwent is addictive, easy to learn and a fun diversion throughout the game. Overall, CDPR put a lobe and attention to detail (on top of a thank you note from developers, you get access to extensive free DLC, something other companies would charge you over $30-40 for. If you enjoy RPGs, this is one of the finest available.

Witcher 3 is a graphically beautiful and enormous open-world adventure. Many towns, caves and dungeons to explore and loot. Controls can be a little glitchy when jumping into objects or grabbing objects and ledges, otherwise the combat and character interactions are flawless. One of the Best games of 2015.

If you are into open world exploration and an engaging story, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an easy purchase. The game is graphically stunning and quests are well designed to help you lose hours while playing. The game is massive with over 200+ hours of content. All the rave reviews are justified. Buy it!

This game is not just a game. It is a masterpiece of storytelling filled with drama, thrills, and excitement. There is so much to like about this game including player-choice interaction, customization, and exhilarating combat. Aside from a few bugs as expected at launch, this is a non-miss title. Don't be afraid about it being a sequel, the game does a great job introducing you to the plot without prior knowledge of the series. I am enjoying this game much more than I did with my endless hours of Dragon Age Inquisition and Skyrim. This is an automatic Game of the Year winner. Stop trying to be a Witcher and hunting for reviews, and just buy the game already at BEST BUY!

Okay so this game was a uncertain purchase for me. Turned out to be a great decision. Good story line I didn't get near 100% and played for 110 hours. Great and smooth gameplay with very few bugs and issues. Good all around RPG.

This has to be the best game I've played in a long time, and I play them frequently. It is so dynamic in the action, so much to do (and you want to do the side quests/extra areas), the story and characters are amazing. Very well thought out and progressed, you can take the game at your pace, whether it be fast or slow, and probably still experience things in a different order than someone else who has played the game, might even come across events that others have not. Dialogue choices makes you feel like you are part of the game, the combat is rewarding and don't get me started on the card game (Gwent) incorporated into this already massive game. Trust me, you won't put it down for a long while, and you'll be happy about your new addiction.

First and foremost, BUY THIS GAME! If you have any interest in RPGs at all, then this is absolutely the ONE to get. There's an incredible amount of stuff to do in terms of side quests, random exploration, monster hunting and a 'mini' game (a card game called Gwent) that could have easily been a full fledged game on its own. Each monster hunt feels like a rewarding challenge. The story is rich and the world is vibrant. If you want, you can easily spend 200+ hours lost in the world on your first playthrough and with all the free pieces of DLC now being released you can continue your adventure into new game plus to enjoy an even harder challenge. I can't recommend this game enough.

This a great continuation of the witcher series. From an implementation standpoint it is a pretty fluid continuation of the second which the changes in question & inventory management, map and UI feeling like a refinement. The game is intended to be hard but is probably less punishing than 2 which was against less punishing than 1. The graphics are stunning, the world is huge and the characters and plot themes continue to be gritty and interesting. Combat is the same as 2 with the addition of a couple more abilities. I was sad to see dice removed but Gwent is a pretty good minigame and likely a good design decision given the current popularity of CCGs. Basically if you liked either of the previous two games throw you money at the screen and pick up this one.
What I didn't like is that there did not seem to be a way to import in my Witcher 2 save so on the onset it feels like my previous decisions are pointless. Poor Ves, don't tell her that she enjoyed the company of King Henselt for nothing.

Had looked at multiple reviews (Metacritic , IGN, etc) and that was enough to get it. I just started playing but understanding the game mechanics and open world aspect - the controls, THE STORY - EVERYTHING is awesome! You can JUST play this game on its own , but the previous Witcher games in the series are cool to have competed going into this ..... Again though, that's just a bonus - it's not required.
If you're looking for an all around AWESOME game that you can tell had a ton of time / effort / gone into it ; pick this up. Would love to add a final review after I get through the game!

This game is totally worth both your time and money. The original content on the disc plus the free DLC with keep you busy for well over 100 hours. If you still haven't had enough, you can purchase their additional content. In an age where we complain about a six hour campaign, this adventure will not disappoint. The story, graphics and overall presentation are top notch. The side quests are often more engaging than the main story and that's saying something. The main story is great as well.

If you are looking for a game that you can immerse yourself in for over a hundred hours, look no further! No game since Skyrim has been so well made and with a world so large. One of the largest open world games ever made. A compelling, well written story that will make you play for hours on end, just to find out what happens next. Truly stunning visuals and breathtaking graphics that define next gen. If you don't pick up this game, you're making a mistake.

Amazing from beginning to end (haven't finished yet but its starts off great!).
This is the way RPGs SHOULD be made. Complete open world, great dialog trees, all decisions matter. Fantastic graphics. Amazing voice acting. Great combat. Great story. Just overall amazing. I haven't been this excited about any game before.
If you have heard all the hype about this game before it was released, just know that it truly lives up to it!
