Season 4 picks up with Kevin beginning 9th grade and dealing with several new issues as well. We get episodes with he and Winnie's relationship, his dad has gotten a promotion, and Paul has started a new school. There are great features as well. Well worth owning.

Contains The Accident. Arguably the finest episode of the series. Highlights include the Madeline character. These are grainy looking but still worth it for such an amazing, funny and poignant show. All the original pop music is restored.

It was great to see the episodes with Madeline Adams. What a temptress! Even Becky Slater was great. The feature and interviews with the actors who played the teachers was insightful.

A touching and humorous series when it first aired, The Wonder Years still holds up really well, mostly because of the period setting (and music), as well as some ingenuous performances by its young cast. A real trip down memory lane.

So much of my childhood is represented here in The Wonder Years. Such an earnest, honest story about a much simpler time to be an American.

This is just another season of ok TV for me. Watching this with my brother reminds me that there's a kind of enjoyment gap in the five year age difference. Maybe one day I'll get it. Nothing offensive or poorly done, just not my cup of tea.
