I haven’t seen this movie myself, but my girlfriend watched this one night and thought it was good enough to purchase, so she had me order it on Bluray for her. I ask how many stars do you want me to put for the review? and she said, “give it a five”, so that’s why I put five stars. Plus, she said to recommend it too!

Used it to teach a lit. lesson over the Holocaust and the kiddos loved it. Made sone cry and shed some light on events surrounding the Warsaw Ghetto

I bought the Zookeeper wife dvd. We watch to very interest movie Very good Movie

What a beautiful film! Starting off so idyllic and then quickly turning into such a compelling and moving tale of woe. Once again Jessica Chastain not only proves how truly great she is, but also how incredibly diverse in her acting skills. Compare this role to her also powerful performance in "Miss Sloane"; it reminds me of Meryl Streep's "Sophie's Choice" and then her follow-up role in "Silkwood". Highly recommended!

I totally loved watching this movie for its historical value, incredible storyline, superb and sincere acting by all characters. I can't say enough great things about this movie. For all the reasons above this movie is proudly displayed in my collection. I believe folks who appreciate history will appreciate this movie!

Ratings for this film were average. The film is better than that. Jessica Chastain is one our most gifted actors and, albeit not one of her best, she's still very good in the part. The film, based upon a true story, sickens me to think that the holocaust ever existed and that Germans, whether civilians or military, tolerated such atrocity. There can never be enough movies like The Zookeeper's Wife made.

What an amazing movie that has a very rich storyline that guarantees that every viewer will be at the edge of their seat as they witness the challenges faced by the main characters. The packing was great and it was nice to also received awesome customer service.

This was based on a true story when the Natzies invaded Poland . The first part is very sad, but after that it shows how this courageous woman helped her husband save hundreds of Jews using her zoo tunnels. Its a movie worth buying

This movie was an amazing recreation of a true story. Great acting by Jessica Chastain as Antonina Zabinska. This film reminds me of the movie "The Hiding Place". May we NEVER see another holocaust in our life time!

A definite must see for World War 2 buffs. The acting was superb and the true story will touch the heart strings. Recommend watching this movie and Schindler's List for a better understanding of what happened during the Holocaust.

Excellent video was displayed in a location that allowed me to spot and peruse cover of DVD before making a decision to purchase. The movie itself was well acted, excellently filmed and captivating.

This movie was excellent, and prompted me to go buy the book to read as well. Gut-wrenching at times, but as to be expected for a movie depicting the choice a family made during that time period

Have your tissue ready and make have popcorn ready for this movie because it's really detailed and it gives you a lesson on history I love the strength and courage displayed in this movie!

I missed this when it was in the theaters so I was watching for the DVD release. It shipped promptly and arrived in time for an enjoyable evening movie -- along with a bag of popcorn.

I always love to watch what happened back in the day during a War. Words cannot explain how I feel about this movie because there are to many emotional feels after watching this movie.

Movie was sad as far as what happened to the people and the animals but it was wonderful to know people like the zookeepers wife existed to help save so many from cruelty and death.

This movie has a great cast and is based on a true story that takes place in Poland just before and during the invasion about a husband and wife who run a zoo in Warsaw .

The zookeepers wife will always be a good classic and good to watch over and over again with family or alone

Knowing this was based on a true story made it even more poignant! The casting, acting, directing and location shots was just magnificent! A really important film

I enjoyed this movie though it was difficult watching the animals getting killed but the human story makes up for the tragedy plus it's based on true events.
