This thing is really cool! It's very tall so I keep adult beverages on the top shelf and the kids stuff on the lower shelves. The storage shelf compartments on the doors are solid, not the cheap plastic crud that breaks. Surprisingly these shelves hold quite a bit considering they look small. A little difficult to get ice out with the scoop it comes with but there's so much ice! Gotta turn off the ice when it gets too full cuz ice overflows out the back and gotta take the ice shelf box out to clear out the ice that gets in the way of closing the drawer. That's kind of a dumb flaw that shouldn't be but at least it's manageable. Freezer honestly isn't that big but we knew that going in so can't complain about it. That's what the garage fridge/freezer is for. The middle drawer right side can be switched to freezer mode but we have it as fridge setting. Middle drawer doesn't seem very big but still holds quite a bit. With these counter depth fridges we really lose a lot of storage but we gain room in the kitchen to walk around. Our old LG fridge was 36" wide and 36" deep and held a ton of stuff but it stuck out into the kitchen 12" past the countertop plus the handles. With the new kitchen layout we really wanted room and most countertop fridges out there are not actually counter depth. They still stick out several inches plus the handles. This Thermador fridge is truly counter depth besides the handles. It really is a grand design feature of the kitchen. I wanted to get the sub-zero cuz it held a little more storage but the ol ball and chain wanted the beauty of this Thermador. It really is a beauty. Gosh I really am great for thinking of her instead of me huh? Besides I hate when she aint happy cuz by maritime law requires me to be unhappy which I take a step further to emphasize the ridiculousness of that law by being p.i.s.s.e.d.o.f.f. Couple more things: It's very quiet compared to last fridge. It has a bunch of cameras which who cares right? It's actually pretty cool to open up the app at the store and see what's in the fridge at home. Geez everything has cameras now. I asked to opt out of cameras but it comes with it. Last thing: there was an intermittent zap noise it was making. Tech came out in 2 weeks after install and it was just an electrical solenoid vibrating when it turned on. He moved it and no noise now. There was no charge for warranty service.

Still trying to figure how the cameras work. Ice cubes get push to the back and have to remove bins to get them out so the drawer can close. Other than that it works great!

Love this 42” fridge! It’s the second Thermador I buy. The built-in look is super sleek, and the stainless steel finish fits perfectly in my kitchen. Tons of space inside, and the shelves are easy to adjust. The addition of a second drawer and camera are nice features.

Very disappointed in the shopping experience. The product was delayed delivery after saying it was in stock. Once received it is a very sleek product with nice appeal. However this product is now has stopped working completely after only two and one half months. Unfortunately I’m unable to return. It’s such an expensive purchase you would think that it would be greater their durability. Hopefully, this is not a precursor of things to come!
