DO NOT BUY White Grade PSUs for High end equipment even as a backup for a backup. Not at Best Buy’s fault, they sold it new and perhaps on a lower end system it might’ve worked.

Plugged up to PC, not even a single jolt. Dead on arrival from curbside pickup in Northgate. You have been warned.

When playing games, it restarts immediately lately. When I put back the original lower wattage oem psu, pc becomes stable. This psu only worked good for a year at least.

At 700W 80+ Bronze certified, I expected this PSU to be able to be fully compatible with modern ATX motherboards that support overclocking.
I have a MSI motherboard that has A-XMP support that will not post unless CPU power 8+4 is connected. Thus this PSU is useless for me.
Bottom line is do not buy if you plan on overclocking.

Not a good PSU made good to only power a motherboard

It died not even 45 days after purchase, thankfully no components were damaged but I would avoid this model entirely, I am sure there are thermaltake products that don't have issues like this, but for comparison in 2016 I bought a similar model EVGA 600w PSU, and it's still in use to this day. I'll go through Thermaltake and see if I can get it warrantied, until then I'm without a power supply unfortunately.

Had to return. Made a horrible high pitch grinding noise.
Technically works, but sounds like it's going to blow up your pc.
Wouldn't recommend. Just spend extra and buy a good power supply.
