Came with big visible dent and Bestbuy has no way of me letting them know for a partial refund. I used it still since I needed it for my daughters PC. In retrospect I should’ve used amazon, would’ve been a quicker delivery speed and swap if needed….

I’m really impressed with this power supply. It was easy to install, runs quietly, and delivers consistent, stable power to my system with no issues at all. My PC performance has been smooth since upgrading, and I’ve had zero overheating or noise problems. The build quality feels solid and dependable. Definitely worth the purchase if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable power source for your setup!

Overall I am pleased with this item. I purchased it to replace a Rocketfish 550W power supply that died suddenly (but luckily not spectacularly). I needed a fast replacement as I was on a deadline, and this fit the bill at a reasonable price. It installed easily and runs very quietly. Its powering a Core i5, 4 hard drives, a low-end GPU and 4 case fans with no issues. For a Budget PSU, this is working very decently so far (one month post purchase).
One caveat, it's not modular so if you need/want that feature then you'll need elsewhere. I took off one star for that, as I think the mfgr should really have included that modern feature. But if you're in a pinch like I was, my advice is go ahread and pull the trigger.

I bought the Thermaltake Smart 700W 80 Plus PSU for my desktop build and it’s been a great performer so far. Installation was simple, the unit feels sturdy, and the 120mm fan is surprisingly quiet — my system runs cool and stable even during heavier tasks.
Power delivery has been reliable, and the 700W gives me plenty of room for future upgrades. The only drawback is that it’s not modular, so cable management takes a little extra effort, but for the price, the performance is hard to beat.
If you need a dependable, budget-friendly power supply for a mid-range build, this one is an excellent choice.

I purchased this three weeks ago and have no complaints. It was supposed to be for my spare build but it was much more quiet than my old 1100w supply. I have two extra cables and they hide easily in my NZXT H6 Flow case I'm using around 60% of the power supply at max load so this is very efficient for my system. My max is 436 watts on the system below..
Component Estimated Wattage
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-Core Processor 13W - 105W
Corsair NAUTILUS 240 RS ARGB 74.37 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler 10W - 15W

For the money, its hard for me to recommend a better cheap PSU. I have bought the 500W and 700W of this PSU for 3-4 different PC builds. Every time it has been solid. I have not noticed any issues with performance.
It isn't modular, so if you are vain about that kind of thing, its not right for you. But on a budget, its good. And at these lower Wattages, I don't seen the point of buying higher graded PSUs above 80 White. Not much gain from the efficiency in terms of watts, and you likely won't be pushing the wattage with a overkill OC'd CPU/GPU where you will get lots of current spikes. If thats your plan, you want a Gold or Platinum PSU that is rated more than your total system wattage by at least probably 10-15%. I had a previous PC that would overload the PSU due to not planning for those OC spikes.

I knew when buying this that its super basic but it gets the job done for a low price. Cable management will be a pain, only 2 8-pin cables, way more molex than anyone needs in modern PC building and not the best efficiency but if you know what youre getting and have a use case for it, this wont disappoint you.
I needed this purely for troubleshooting a friends broken PC, i didnt have a spare PSU around and this one had enough watts that would be sufficient for his build while i confirmed his old PSU had died.
If you are building something you want to be proud of and show off, i would look for something with more modularity and better efficiency.
But if you, like me, needed something cheap and readily available for something like troubleshooting/auxillary power/emergency replacement etc, this will do the job just fine

thankfully I have yet to have a single one of these power supplies from this manufacturer in 10 years come back bad on me
these are much more affordable than their competitors while readily available at most Best buys when I need it one on short notice for a computer repair on site that had a desktop that uses a lower power wattage
these are phenomenal for custom built client computers that don't have to have all of this advanced hardware or advanced video card and does the trick
keynote you do not want to use a three-prong cable from another charger or computer on this one as the cables have no standards so the cabling is not all the same even though it will fit in a standard three prong so I highly recommend you use the charging cable that comes with this power supply and not another
easy to work with and professionally packaged although there are no cables that can be disconnected everything's already soldered into the power supply so it's not pick and choose but that also saves on time depending on what you're trying to achieve and easily I'm packing it and it does come with screws to install it into just about any desktop shell Don't make sure you always have the fan facing word event goes below
