    I saw so many wonderful reviews on youtube and got this product from Bestbuy. It doesn't feel premium but looks decent. The main problem is, however much I tried, I couldn't get to register the dashcam. The thinkware connected and thinkware dashcam link are both trash. There were at least 5 emails to the customer care to resolve the issue. The customer care is good, but they couldn't resolve my issue at all. The advised to return the cam at the bestbuy before my return window closes. The cam is almost $400 and if we couldn't get to register it, there is no point in charging that much money. I bought a viofo A139 pro which is far advanced than the q1000 in terms of image quality (from youtube videos from vortex radar channel) and for almost a $100 less than the price I paid for q1000. Unless the folks at thinkware upgrade their camera or software, there is no point in spending that much money on this dashcam

    The red cover for the 3M sticker for the window placement won't come off so I had to return the device. A very bad experience and wasted time and energy.

    False marketing. Terrible cloud service and App

    Cloud does not work. Will not connect to the cloud via Hot Spot. Customer support terrible. They told me the only way to watch videos is via the App when it’s connected via phone or by taking out the memory card and watch on computer. Marketing material say parking mode will notify you of incidents while parked. It can’t unless it’s connected to the internet. If the phone is not in the car there is no connection. Manufacturer verified it does not work without connection to internet.
