Great value for the price….does everything you need it to….just be aware that in Microsoft flight simulator…it does not have a designated button for trim control so you will have to override and assign it if you like to use trim while flying.

I got this joy stick for Microsoft flight sim 2020. It does what it needs to do. Really nice that it has its own throttle controls and has 2 different ways to control the rutters. Super easy to use. I use this on pc but it also works on the xbox.

Flight stick and buttons are ok. The throttle is absolutely garbage. There is no tension at all it falls all the way forward or all the way backwards with a little stop in the middle. I would wait for something better or go PC because these are ok at best.

I have used joy sticks before, but they were nowhere as sophisticated as they are now. In other words, I am about 20 years behind on flight simulators! Today is my first try using them and at the moment I am frustrated! I like the feel of it and like having a throttle rather than having to use the keyboard, but I need to have the patience to learn how to set everything up. Once that is done, I believe I will like it! I hope!

I bought this flight stick as a birthday gift for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! The setup was smooth, and the build quality feels solid and responsive. He’s been using it for flight simulators and says it adds a whole new level of realism and control. It’s safe to say this gift was a hit!

4 stars. Great for a quick setup, but ultimately lacking in the amount of buttons to assign configurations for different tasks. Will be very fun to use for beginners and very easy to learn on. Its sturdy enough to take a bit of a beating, but definitely not designed for a pro. The price is fair, if a bit on the expensive side.

Great Entry Level HOTAS Stick and Throttle value!

Bought this primarily for MS Flight Sim 2020 and Star Wars Squadrons in VR. It's a great entry-level HOTAS stick. The stick and spring work well and has a great feel to them. They sit firmly on the desk and does not move around. It's easy to configure and get up and running on the PC. One drawback is the loose feel on the throttle. I wish there was a way to stiffen up its glide up and down the channel. The looseness makes using the back buttons difficult because pressing them can affect the throttle position. The other drawback is the relatively short cable connecting the throttle and stick. If you want to operate in a split configuration, you can barely fit a full-size keyboard between the 2.

The Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas One is an excellent entry-level flight stick and throttle combo for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It offers a comfortable grip, smooth and accurate controls, and plenty of buttons for immersive flight simulation at an affordable price point (around $90–$110). The detachable throttle and stick can be used together or separately, making it versatile for different setups. It’s plug-and-play for Microsoft Flight Simulator and works well with other titles like Ace Combat and Star Wars Squadrons. However, the build uses lightweight plastic, the throttle lacks strong resistance, and the unit can slip around without a mounting solution. Some buttons feel hollow, and cable length could be better. Despite these minor drawbacks, its value, ease of use, and compatibility make it the best budget HOTAS option for beginners looking to elevate their flight sim experience without breaking the bank.

I've got a very complex racing wheel and pedal set for my Oculus system, but when I picked up Star Wars Squadrons for my Xbox, I wouldn't even play it since controlling with the Xbox controller was awful. And of course thanks to Microsoft's Flight Sim, HOTAS units were impossible to find forever.
I was randomly checking a few places every week or so and was fortunate enough to catch one in stock here at Best Buy, so I snagged it right away.
The length of the cord isn't that great, but fortunately I had a USB extension cable from my first Oculus headset, allowing me to get a decent distance from my TV.
Fired up the game, and this made ALL the difference. It went from annoying to enjoyable instantly.
Not sure how many people would play with the thrust and flight control sticks connected, but that would work. However there's enough cord to separate them and get them comfortably distanced from each other.
For me, the bonus is that this is natively recognized by the game so I can SEE what buttons will do what, I didn't have to remap controls or anything.
I wish there was a bit more resistance on the throttle stick, but for this price, I'm pleased that it's responsive and works.
Buttons are for the most part placed well, just some muscle memory now to train as I start to use it.
All in all, for this price, it's light years beyond using the controllers that come with a game system. Definitely NOT worth the scalp prices you find them online, but if you wait like I did and snag it at retail price it's worth it.
