Everything is what I expected, if not better! The only thing I dont like about it is how it has two share buttons on the wheel. Besides that everything is just great!

The Thrustmaster T248 racing wheel and the accompanying T3PM pedals is the first racing wheel I have owned and after using it for the last couple of weeks I can say that I am quite happy with it so far. It is no way perfect, and given the price and functionality it sits in a weird spot between a beginners set and a more advanced one (making things a bit confusing to newcomers like me). However, as an overall package it won’t disappoint. Here’s some key takeaways: Pros: Excellent and solid build quality. Though made mostly out of plastic, the fit and finish is good and I found it to be quite durable Force feedback is very good (disclaimer: I have not used a lot of racing wheels before, and this is my first time owning one). It uses a hybrid-drive i.e. a combination of gear- and belt-driven setup which is supposed to perform better than a standard belt-only cheap wheels On the fly change in force feedback: There are 3 different set points (curves) that can be changed with a button. This helped me a lot as different games required different types of feedback Very fast magnetic paddle shifters Wheel has a built-in display that helps changing some settings on the fly much convenient. And if the (PC) game supports it, some telemetry data can be seen (and selected) Setting up the wheel with Windows PC and Xbox was fast and easy Included T3PM pedals are quite good and offers some flexibility is setting the position and brake-pedal stiffness Quick-release USB-C cable is a good addition Cable routing on the wheelbase (power, USB-C to console/PC, and RJ-12 for pedal set) is well thought out. An attached velcro helps in keeping those cables under control Mini-DIN port available for option shifter/handbrake Threaded holes on both the wheel-base and the pedal makes mounting on a racing cockpit an easy thing Cons: Though made solidly with good finish, all plastic material looks a bit cheap. I was expecting some better materials (like metal) on the wheel based on the price The paddle-shifters are really really loud and become tedious after some time if you’re using it consistently. I had to wear headphones to bear it. Other people in the room will get annoyed The pedal set is very slippery, even on carpets. Even though there are some rubber bits, they are useless. Unless it’s mounted to a racing rig, it needs to be held in place in some other means. When using on my desk, I relied on a large box The integrated display is not supported in Xbox consoles (at least at the time of this writing). Also in PC, only a number of games support it for telemetry The included USB-C to A cable (to connect it to a console/PC) is quite short - I had to buy a longer one when I was using it with my console/TV setup The default stiffness of the brake-pedal was too much - I had to change the stiffness by taking out one of the rubber spacers. Overall I found the pedals to be not to my liking out of the box - I had to tinker with it a bit before I got comfortable Which brings to my next complaint - the userguide is not the easiest to understand, especially if this is your first racing wheel. As mentioned, I had to adjust things a lot to get comfy and the user manual was not the best place. I was expecting a better documentation (e.g. nowhere did it say you need to select the correct device (PC or Xbox) using the “Mode” button) Same goes with the Thrustmaster website - it looks really dated and unintuitive After going through all the setting up, I found that having a rig/cockpit/wheel stand would’ve been much better from the beginning. So do your research if you’re planning on setting it up on a table All in all, even though there happens to be a lot of annoying issues, the basic functionality and experience while gaming is excellent, at least after all the setting up is done. Except the loudness of the paddle-shifters, everything else can be taken care of. And once I got there I had a really good time using the T248.

The physical set up wasn’t a problem. But it did take me a little longer to get the software working. But once I did, it was running like a dream. It’s my first wheel, and I don’t see myself replacing it anytime soon

Is the best for gaming I play with then American truck simulator,asseto corsa etc is the best one

It was the best wheel that I have ever gotten! The last one I had worked great, but I wasn't a fan of the PlayStation language. Since I played on PC and I was used to the Xbox/Nintendo ABXY controls. My only issue is the pedals turn black really quickly the more you use them, regardless if you are barefoot or use shoes. It could be because my feet/shoes could be dirty, but it shouldn't make the pedals black that fast.

Amazing piece of video gaming equipment. Not exactly the easiest thing to use if you have never used one before. Designed for specific games. Only problem is my game sees it as the ps5/pc version instead of xbox/pc version.

Its ok. A little much for a game wheel. Was easy to setup.

Nice wheel. Pretty easy install. Had to download firmware and driver from Thrustmaster but it was smooth. Just wish you could change setting on wheel from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

My son loves his driving games and this took it to a whole nother level. I honestly believe if he was tall enough to drive a real car, he would be able to drive already.

It’s really good plug and play , adjusting settings very easy , overall just a lot of fun especially when paired with racing chair

I really like this wheel, its not super bulky but works very well. The break pedal is pretty stiff but once i mounted the pedals that didnt bother me at all.

Bang for the buck. Really good entry level wheel, although sim racers may prefer higher level wheels, this is a good way to see if sim racing is for you

Works as expected. The alternative is the g923 and this one is has more torque and the hybrid drive makes the feeling more accurate.
