I loved this movie when I was a kid and must have watched it a hundred times. It is in the vane of a Monty Python movie; if you enjoy those movies and even has some of the same actors in it. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's a good time.

this looks amazing compared to the previous versions. Colors are brighter and smaller details are noticeable.

I can call this a top favorite from the 80's. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

I'm blown away with how eye-meltingly gorgeous the video transfer is on this 30+ old movie. The movie was pricey compared to what I normally pay for a blu-ray, but the quality and attention to detail on the movie is definitely there. No regrets on this purchase.

We bought this because we had purchased and watched George Harrisons Living in a Material World Dvd set, and learned George had mortgaged his house to finance this movie for friends Terry Gillam and Michael Palin of Monty Python. We also had sailed on the refurbished Time Bandit at Big Bear Lake. Interesting History...Nostalgic!!!!!

The feature film was excellent. A great remastered Blu-ray transfer of a great film from the mind of Terry Gilliam. The extra features were below average for a Criterion Collection disc. The “making of” was good but too short, there was so much more to explore, but it just ends after less than 30 minutes. There is only one cast member interview, and it’s not even a current interview, just one they pulled from the archives. And the 90 minute panel discussion with Terry Gilliam in Finland is cool, but unlike the short “making of” feature, the panel discussion is over-long and poorly filmed. If I had paid $10 for this disc, I would not care, but I feel ripped off at $27.

I took a chance on this film because of the striking cover, and you know what? You really can judge a movie by its cover! I've never heard about this one before but I'm glad I chanced it. Not going to spoil anything, just watch it!

It is a very enjoyable and creative movie by Terry Gilliam, that I enjoyed when it came out and even more today. After watching a more recent Gilliam film on Bluray--"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" which is thoroughly amazing and the last of Heath Ledger's short career-I just had to re-visit "Time Bandits".

I am a huge fan of the 80's and remembering the movies I grew up watching in that timeline are a great reminder to that. This movie brought back some great times and has not lost its authenticity. Great and funny movie.

Solid movie, but the real reason to buy any Criterion is the special features, and this film is no different. Movie has never looked or sounded better.

Zipping around through time, and being chased by God. He wants his map of the holes in the universe back. Fun from start to finish.

I collect criterion films and was thrilled to purchase this. Video quality is outstanding and so are the extras!

This is a amazing redo of a classic movie and a fabulous addition to my Criterion collection :)

I always loved this movie as a kid...now all grown up, I feel like a kid again.

Time Bandits is one of my timeless favorites, and so finding it at Best Buy in Blue Ray was a bonus!

Time travel, Terry Gilliam, Sean Connery...what more do you need? Great movie.
