I’m liking the game on ps5. The reason for 3 stars is because you can’t find teammates if you’re far apart. The quest log keeps going blank.

So I had some decently high expectations going into this game, but am happy to be able to say that this game surpassed them. The game is a delight, and plays well in one player mode... That being said, the split screen mode has some bugs that I was frankly disappointed to see made it into the commercial release. These are mostly related to inventory management, especially with the bank. As such, they are not total game breakers so much as annoying inconveniences. When playing online, the connection to SHiFT seems very unstable, so if you are getting this for the multiplayer features, it may still take some time before it is refined enough to be the game you want. The borderlands games have always became stable enough to enjoy, and I have no doubt that they will figure this one out as well eventually. Hopefully I'll remember to update this review at that point.

If you have ever enjoyed a borderlands game, this should be right up your alley! The voice cast is star studded, the story is silly and fun, the gameplay is different enough yet the same to be comfortable with it. The only issues are technical with the inventory screen. Which I'm sure they will fix eventually. Definitely worth a buy

Wonderful coop game that is whimsical. But, I have to admit the LGBTQIA+ whatever references I find almost offensive. Sexuality has no place in a game of this type. Not for children. This is my review, and that is my honest opinion. Adults-only game. Not a surprise, but disappointing.

This game is a good mix of fantasy and guns. I love using spells and guns and having companions that help do damage.

If you like borderlands you will like Wonderlands. Same basic loot concept with high fantasy D&D stat progression. The real determining factor will be if you can get pass the bugs, stutters, and Shift issues to play the good game. Its also shorter than the average BL game and the level cap is laughibly low at only 40. But with unique classes and a multiclass system it still offers plenty of borderlands level variety

A magnificent addition to the franchise! Admittedly, the game is a little shorter than the average Borderlands title but it makes up for it in quality. From wacky side quests and a potential sequel (?) in the works, this is a great multiplayer (and couch co-op) game!

Graphics on the PS5 are seamless. No glitching or slow downs when playing co-op. Fun storyline. Legendaries drop at later levels with increased “loot luck” and purchasing items from vendors is now worthwhile and you don’t have to have an all-Legendary setup in this FPS RPG to have fun. Experiment with spells and your favorite crossbows. Hang out with Torgue and (SPOILER ALERT) blow up the ocean! Excellent installment to the Borderlands franchise. Thank you for making couch co-op fun again! Haptic Feedback is perfect, but if you don’t like getting calluses on your trigger fingers you can turn it off.

To me this is a good comfort game. I had a lot of fun playing all of the borderlines games and this is very familiar in that sense, but it has brand new adventures filled with humor.

If you like borderlands, youll like this game. Great sequel to the borderlands 2 dlc. It is on the shorty side when it comes to campaign length, took 2 days to beat the campaign but i did no life it. Level cap is shorter than others at 40 but these games typically extend levels as dlcs are released. The character customization is great in this game, you can even pick your own pronouns. Overall just a fantastic game.

Absolutely fantastic game. Story is well done, there's so many new customization options to make your plate character unique, the new skill trees and equipped items feel like they were pulled right from the d&d manuals and guidebooks, the totally new character classes and sub class option are so dang slick, and having so many celebs doing voice in the game as little eater eggs is an awesome treat.
My only complaints are over glitches in the inventory system and the way they implemented menus in co-op is atrocious.
Overall, this is an absolute gem and a must play for any d&d or Borderlands fan. This is a fantastic standalone expansion building off of Borderlands 2's Tiny Tina's Attack on Dragon's Keep DLC. So much care was put into world building, expanding on the source material while keeping the core set up from TTADK integrated, and implementing so many aspects of traditional TTRPGs from d&d, White Wolf, and Games Workshop titles.

I hope that this spinoff of Borderlands becomes its own franchise. 6 classes and the ability to mix and match class skills makes this game a blast. Great writing, excellent voice work, and a bazillion guns (and spells). Just go get it already.

Great game, lots to do, awesome graphics, cool characters. If you're a Borderlands fan, you already know you must do. But even without that background, it's still an enjoyable game and certainly worth the cost with the add-ons.

Tolkien-esque looter shooter -
After stripping the fantasy out of Diablo to combine it with an FPS, creating the looter-shooter on the way, Borderlands adds the fantasy back in.
