Customers frequently mention the fast-paced gameplay and fun Titans as major highlights of Titanfall. Many also praise the game's action, price point, and maps. However, some players express disappointment with the limited campaign mode and lack of a robust single-player experience. The absence of a compelling storyline is also a recurring criticism.

A Must Have Game For Xbox One!!

Titanfall is all about freedom of movement -- a concept that it achieves with great success. Initially, I went wild with the parkour wall-running mechanics, as well as the perfectly executed double-jump and climbing abilities. But once you get past the surface and utilize moves like the wall hang, you realize Titanfall's true potential, as you can literally climb almost anywhere you can see. It's an invigorating feeling that not only has a point gameplay wise, but emotionally -- as you always feel like you're in control to some degree. Maps are meant to be explored, not just looked at, and that's an accomplishment. This game a an 10!!! Must have for Xbox One!

Titan Fall is by far one of the greatest games I've played since call of duty. It has everything and I live the fact that it is automatically a multi-player game on the Internet...
Can't stop playing this game.....

I love the way that this game is played online. All new wall running and Titans are awesome! Also, the addition to playing against bots on top of other players is a smart way of keeping you always busy and making maps seem so much smaller. Only drawback is I wish a game like this would have an offline campaign. Other than that, if you're a fan of multiplayer online, this is the game for you.

The multiplayer gameplay is a blast. The fluid motion, wall running, the titans, and the combat are all a great time, and I suppose that's mostly what matters. But the game is lacking on the story front (no backstory and I truthfully had no idea what was going on while playing the campaign / during combat, and pretty short to boot), and there is no single-player at all. You're either playing the multiplayer campaign, or the standard online play to boost your stats, perks, loadouts, etc. If that's all you need, you'll be fully satisfied with the gameplay and amount of weapons, perks, etc. Otherwise, there's not much else to do.

im really enjoying Titan fall. The variety of modes keep you busy- graphics are great - gameplay is stellar. Wall running really helps you get around the map fast as a pilot. Only disappointment is no campaign so this is really an MMO ( massive multilayer online)

Hands down the most fun I've had playing a shooter. My friends and I played this game so much since getting it and I've put in more ours after we've finished playing. If you are a fan of giant robot fighting, free running, fast paced gaming, and cool weapons then this is the game for you.

If you like Call of Duty, and are a fan of giant robots then this will be right up your ally. I would recommend buying this when it's on sale, as the online campaign leaves a-lot to be desired.
The multiplayer (which is obviously the meat of the game) is very fun, and by now there is a lot of free DLC available for the game so you are getting more bang for your buck. This was not the case when it was first released.
Having your robot come down from the sky and jumping into the cockpit it extremely satisfying. I hope they would use this for other franchises like Mobile Suit Gundam, as it is evident that a game like that could be made. Pick it up for some online multiplayer fun, but you aren't missing out as much if you decide to skip the title

This is a game for those who love a balanced PVP world...and that's it. The campaign is nothing more than PVP with cut scenes that simply become background noise. Honestly, that doesn't matter. This is by far the best online shooter since COD4. The mechanics are outstanding, the load out options are immense, and the action is nothing but adrenaline pumping. The maps are huge in the sense that as a pilot there is no rooftop you can't scale to. This game is the only FPS I need. I couldn't be happier that I traded BF4 in to best buy for this game.

I got this under $10 on BestBuy.com so there is no way I can not give this a 5 star review. Its a team based first person shooter with the added ability of jet packs and wall running. This is innovative and fun enough on it own but there is another dynamic that awaits everyone involved. Not too soon after game starts every player has the ability to bring a giant robot to pilot and fight in. Being on foot or in a robot and dealing with other players on foot or in a robot makes for a pretty fresh multiplayer experience. If you want a single player campaign, I will tell you that this game has basically nothing for you but if you are online and want robot fights and jetpack shooter action... For 10 bucks, Titanfall has that nailed down.

Titanfall is an exciting take on recent FPS games. A futuristic shooter that loosely follows the struggle between the IMC government and the rebel colonial militia fighting for freedom. The game is entirely multiplayer, with even the 'campaign' mode just being a series of multiplayer matches with some story conversation during loading/lobby screens and piped in during battle. If you're hoping for a meaningful single player experience, stay away. The multiplayer is great though. Matches are 6v6, with each player starting as a pilot on foot, carting a primary and secondary weapon, as well as an anti mech weapon and a jetpack that allows parkour like movement around the battlefield. There are also two types of bots that populate both teams, making the conflict feel much larger. But the games name comes from the giant mechs you are able to summon, called Titans. These giant battlesuits start out a timer, that can be rapidly cooled down by killing enemies. Once it hits zero, you choose a spot on the battlefield and can see it hurtle from space to land at that location. You can then hop in for increased weaponry, durability and mayhem, or set it to auto, and it will either guard its location, or follow you around as another ally. Game modes include attrition (death match), hardpoint (area control), CTF, and pilot only/titan only modes.
Despite being MP only, it is a fun experience and then I definitely recommend the purchase.

I didn't expect to have this much fun with a multiplayer only game but it's worth every penny. It controls amazingly and it's a blast using the titans.

This game is extremely fun when you get into it. It has a perfectly balanced pace to the game that works well - not too slow, not too fast. The parkour animations are very smooth, and the weapons are very balanced - including the Titans. You can choose to fight a titan head on or you could escape and slay other pilots. It doesn't exactly have a campaign, and I'm alright with that. The multiplayer is worth it all by itself. The only thing bad was that I found titanfall to become stale after playing it extensively, which does not happen with a 5 star game.

A fast-paced First Person Shooter with many ways to play. Whether you prefer close-range or sniping, speed or stealth, or just running everyone over in a dominating Titan, you can find a way to play that suits you.
The game is online only, so keep that in mind. However, most of the enemies in any match is NPC, so even if you're new to the game or trying new weapons and abilities, you can still get some kills and level up pretty easily.
The game is similar to Call of Duty in that it has presets you build to play a match, and as long as you complete the required challenges, you can "regen" (prestige) and reset your level to advance. Unlike COD, every map has places designed for any weapon. No maps are designed just for snipers or to give CQB a dominating advantage.
The game focuses around titans. Giant walking tanks you ride in that become a real threat to any player. Everyone can call in their titan after a few minutes in the game, and if yours is destroyed, you get another in a couple minutes. People often use titans to fight other titans, but you can fight them on foot as well, which is often faster to destroy the enemy. And just because the titans have immense firepower doesn't mean they're OP. The stealth in game works against Titans better than players on foot. Titans can't enter most buildings. Their firepower has to reload and their quick boosts have to recharge. And any pilot who climbs on an enemy titan's back can shoot at the internal core to bypass the shield system and damage the titan quickly. (Just beware, the pilot may get out or use a tactical ability to save their titan.) I actually regened the first time and only operated my titan 1% of the gameplay, preferring to use my titan as a decoy.
The best part about this game that sets it apart from other shooters is the parkour. If you're under fire or in a dangerous spot, some quick thinking and wall running can get you out of harm's way in a flash. And even though standing on rooftops gives you a great vantage point, you can scale buildings so quickly, that it's as quick to climb as it is to fall.
There is also "burn cards". Basically, a bonus you can activate to give you a slight advantage over others. You can take up to 3 into a match, using 1 at a time, and they last until you die or the match is over.
The game is very well-balanced for all players, and I don't think a single one of my friends didn't like it. Unfortunately, it's becoming less popular so there are many less people to play against, and I think the DLC is all done. Still, I really like the game and hope another like it comes out. And if you like a FPS, this one is definitely worth trying.

The game is very fun, but seems to lack much excitement after playing the beta for 6 hours. You get more maps and customizations, but the wow factor is not there if you played the beta already. I wish it had more of a campaign, instead of a faint story overlaid on a multi-player map rotation. I wish there were more to discover from the game, but will play it for the online fun.

This game is a great first person shooter. Unlike other FPS games Titanfall sticks out from the crowd. Whether one is in a Titan or on foot there is always something happening on the screen. The gameplay is unlike any other and is a great game overall. I was a little disappointed in that there is no single player campaign mode included and the only option is to play the game online.
