I use over air antenna. Have never had cable. Love the ability to pause live tv, record multiple shows, fast forward through commercials. Awesome!

I have two of these DVR's and I like them very well. One of them seems to have to be rebooted about once every 2 months, but it never loses any recordings and they both work great. Good picture and sound.

Bought this to ditch Direct TV. Works really well for OTA viewing and recording. The streaming options are somewhat limited and geared mainly to Amazon Prime Which lacks many tv channels but has many other channels.

Does exactly what I had hoped. Gets all my channels and records all I need it to while watching something else. And I don’t have to pay a monthly bill. Options are almost endless and for less cost if I choose.

I am very pleased with this TiVo product. I have not had any problems. It is easy to use and nice to have to record favorite programs.

Does every thing we need it to do. Has great features and records all the shows we need recorded. Even though there is a fee it is worth it, dumped the cable guy and we are saving a ton of money!

This is an excellent TiVo for recording, pausing live tv from an over the air antenna. Keep in mind TiVo charges for the service. If you know this going in, you’ll LOVE this box.

The Tivo concept has rocked my word! It was very easy to set up. For just a few dollars a month, you will begin to have more viewing than you can handle! Wish I had 'cut the cable' years ago,

If you want to cut the cord, this device may be the only thing you need attached to your TV. It supports the top streaming apps and OTA broadcast television.

This DVR, from the company that pretty much started the DVR, is a good unit that enables those without cable or satellite to record shows and pause live tv. I would've given it 5 stars, but their menu and settings aren't as easy to maneuver as they should be. Some settings take way too many clicks to reach. It should have had a much better menu layout.

Bought this to replace the local channels thru my satellite provider. I record everything so i needed the 4 tuners this has. Took a little time for initial setup but so far has worked well.

Works flawlessly, great user interface, easy to install and customize.

Works exactly as it is intended. The only downside is the pay subscription needed.

The picture quality is better than what we had with cable, the channel skip is the best thing ever invented

Easy set up. Been with Tivo for years. This is an upgrade from an earlier model for us. Wouldn't go back to cable. Same price from Best Buy as Tivo and I picked it up the same day.

Buy a newer version! This one does not allow you to add apps for many services such as HBO Max and Disney+. Works well with Amazon Prime and Netflix however. Had to purchase membership to make it useful.

The main thing that stopped me from cutting the cord was a DVR. The DVR on this works. The skip the commercial option on this works way better then on the hopper. Love it.

We recently "cut the cord" and added an OTA antenna to the house but didnt want to give up the interfaces and DVR capabilities we had before. We have been fans of TIVO and used units long ago, but had been using the cable box provided with the service the last time we moved. With the switch it was the right time to return to Tivo. It gets the schedules and records as we need to and works great. It took a little time to get it set up, there were a few updates that had to run sequentially, but even that was not annoying. Once set up it has been running great for several months now.
