I have been a Garmin user for the past 3 years.. after seeing the product i was very tempted to buy it for the use of onboard storage for music and optical heart rate monitor. however it did very good in both the options and even very accurate or close to perfect tracking of my runs. i run close to 30 to 35 miles on average so i am very happy with the product. But you guys might wonder why i gave 2 stars the reason being for the company it self.
You can not connect to a android phone initially.. if you can connect you can't sync every time. so i called them they simple told me that they are aware of problem and never bother about calling to fix it or try to fix it. after couple of weeks it is working fine that means they have fixed it properly. it worked fine for 4 weeks now this time it can't connect to either android or ios.. i called again they simple said they know the issue and working on it.. it has been 4 weeks no luck at all. i am back to my garmin and working perfect althoug i missed the music part because i hate to carry my phone with me for running..
if you talk about product and features it is absolutely great.. but as a whole package including app and software it gets below zero points only for their customer service and the way they are handling the issues.

Uploading issues

Works great when it actually works. Out of about 15 uses, it froze 3-4 times and did not upload from watch to phone or when I hooked it up to the computer. Still has upload bugs, hopefully they fix it. The music feature is great. I don't have to carry an iPod anymore and uploading music is easy. Takes a while for the heart rate to settle so I usually stretch longer than normal before starting my run. GPS is awesome. I like it enough to keep it. Just hate when it doesn't upload. Have only used it for running. Haven't tried the treadmill, swimming or other workouts.

Great GPS watch for people who want to track all kinds of activities. It tracks heart rate but it's not displayed unless your in a workout status. I love it too because it holds a lot of music/ playlists. I am not bothered by hanging earphones because I can Bluetooth sync to my GPS watch. I used to use a armband with my iPhone but I don't have to carry that anymore. I can workout and lift easier. I highly recommend this product.

If you were fortunate enough to own a Motoactv you know there hasn't been a good device to replace it until this Tomtom Spark came out. Music, indoor and outdoor multiple activities are accurately tracked. Battery life is great, pairing to headphones is easy and the app is fantastic. I am in love with this device.

I was in the market for a watch with GPS and music-storage capabilities. I started using the TomTom - Spark Cardio + Music Fitness Watch + Heart Rate and absolutely loved it. The GPS signal acquisition was fast and accurate. I was listening to my music from the watch (using my bluetooth earphones) and the material of the watch seems to be very durable. Only problem is that you actually have to touch the screen to "wake it up." If you do not touch the screen, you will not be able to see anything at night (or early morning which is when I do my runnings). Aside from that, the screen is dim and you are able to see the time during the day without having to touch the screen.
Battery on the watch is excellent. One thing I didn't like, and this is the reason I am not giving it a five star rate, is that the charging port is hard to access. Every time you want to charge the watch is a battle with the strap and most of the time you end up removing the strap, by accident, just to simply charge the watch. I did have an incident with the watch though. After 2 weeks of constant use, the watch stopped charging. I don't think it was a charger problem because I tried it with a different charger and it still would not charge.
I went back to the store and they exchanged it without a problem.

I absolutely love this watch. I am able to track my runs, watch my time and pace, listen to music and track my heart rate with one device. The app allows you to see your run on the map and keeps track of your activities including sleep. I've used 2 pairs of random wireless headphones and they both synced to the watch easily.

The primary reason I purchased this watch was for its runners features, but the additional features it has makes this a very good watch for anybody looking to track their fitness levels and progress. The design is nice. The functionality works well and operating it is simple. It is very easy to read and overall the GPS seems very accurate. If you're in a bad area for gps reception, it might take a minute or two for the gps to process your location, but other than that location acquisition takes a few seconds. It is light-weight and comfortable to wear. Great for beginners and advanced users. The watch comes with several gigabites of storage for music which you can upload from your computer and pairs well with wireless headphones. Those are the other two main features that locked me in outside of it's affordability. NOTE: If you are looking to buy a pair of wireless headphones to use with this watch make sure you don't buy headphones that act as two separate bluetooth devices (i.e. headphones that don't have a physical connection). Watch will only pair to one blutooth device, so if your wireless headphones are not physically connected to each other as a single headset then each ear bud is its own device. Therefore the watch will only connect to one of the earbuds.

Quick to charge, which lasts a long time if you don't have the light turned on. Easy to upload music for use with the wireless headphones. It does take a lot longer than I anticipated for the Freestyle Walk to get started - sometimes the Please Wait shows for almost 5 minutes. I believe it is the GPS that causes the delay. I also haven't found a way to review my step count while the stopwatch is running without losing the accumulated data from the stop watch.

Hey! Thank you so much for your nice review! The opportunity to see your steps while you are on the stopwatch unfortunately is not possible. In regards to the time it takes to get your device to start your activity, relates specifically to the GPS, please make sure you keep device updated by connecting to the computer so this time is shorten. And of course if you have any more questions, let us know, we'll be happy to help. Again, thank you for your review! -Sophia @ TomTom

Gone are the days of having to carry a device by hand or wearing something bulky on my arm. With 3GBs of storage, it stores plenty of music, so I don't have to worry about hearing the same songs over and over. I would give it five stars, but the toggle is a little awkward, though that's hardly a big deal. There are a lot more functions that will make this a great addition to your workouts.

I have used this watch regularly for about a month now. The watch pair with some wireless headphones are great. The music must be stored on the watch and it is clunky to transfer music. The tracking and web interface is great. The battery life is mediocre. I have to recharge it after 2-3 runs with some daily use in between. The initialization of the GPS logging is sometimes slow. Overall, a good device in a niche that few watches cater to.

Hi Keith,
I'm happy to read that overall you're enjoying your Spark Cardio+ music. Thank you for your feedback about your experience so far. We are always looking for ways to improve the watch and I will deliver your comments on music transfer to the internal team. Regarding the slow acquisition of GPS, you can improve that by ensuring that your QuickGPS is always up to date. This will drastically improve the time it takes to capture the satellites. You can update it by connecting your watch to your computer or by synching with your MySports application.

This is great fitness tracker. I haven't used the onboard storage but the GPS is very accurate. I charge it maybe once a week. My only complaint is that the band grew brittle and broke after a few months of use, the replacement bands are $30 online.

Hi,
Thank you for your review, I'm happy to read that you're enjoying your Spark Cardio + Music watch! Your watch can alert you of mile splits if you change your training mode while you're in the Run or Treadmill activity. If you select the Laps mode, select distance, and select 1 mile, the watch will beep, vibrate, and deliver the mile split to you on the watch. For more information on the functions of the training mode, check out our manual here: bit.ly/sparkmanual. I hope this helps improve your experience!

My wife likes it so that is what counts, but it has a different counting mechanism for steps than does fitbit or garmin. I wore it with my fenix 3 and it gave me a 20-30% boost on steps taken just doing household items. It was accurate when going for a walk or run and was right on par however.

I love this watch. Accurate gps, and nice phone app which is recently updated by Tomtom. Solid music player and bluetooth connectivity to my cheap off-brand headphones. Battery lasts about 4:30 hour in music+heart+gps mode or 10 hours in heart+gps mode in my test.
