The freezer is on the bottom, and the items we need most are right in front of us. We don't have to bend down to search through the fruit or vegetable drawers, so produce hasn't been going bad as much. The inside is spacious, and flexible shelves allow for tall items to be stored easily. And the filtered cold water is excellent! I am very happy with this purchase.
