Thank you for your loyalty and purchasing a second TomTom device. The lifetime maps is a different service than the Speed Camera and are updated quite differently this is why they are not included. Excellent navigation tool

Navigation is always correct and it recalculate routes pretty quickly when taking detours or stopping to eat etc.

Stopped at first Best Buy I could find & bought a replacement as I liked the first one so much...great little machines and if you travel a lot, an absolute necessity

The city wouldn't come up. I had to back track manually to former settings that took me to the original destination. From there I found my way back. Other than that.its a decent gps.

I’d love to try and help you out with that so that you feel a lot happier. Now you mentioned when you were doing a return journey the city wasn’t coming up to navigate to, that sounds really strange, as on your return journey it should be just as simple as an outgoing journey. I have to admit I’m struggling to understand a little exactly what you mean. But I’m sure we could find a way around it. If you do get a chance, give us a ring on: 877-757-7137 and someone will be able to go through it with you over the phone. We can either find an alternative (simpler way) or pass it on as feedback. Its price is unbeatable. And its size is sufficient for driving and the item small enough to be placed in (almost) any bag.

This has allowed us to determine the functionality and benefits of both. Tomtom wins out in terms of it flexible screen, ability to fit on the dashboard securely. It loses points when it comes to finding points of interest - not very user friendly
