This 4K TV has a great picture and has very good sound reproduction. The 1080 content up scales nicely and the colors are true to life . It was purchased as the best buy at the price point and delivers on that premise. It does have a built in OS which allows the TV to be controlled for streaming content by a smart device . The 4K rendering is pretty amazing . I had not owned a 4K device prior to this TV. 55 inches is a very good screen size for our medium sized viewing area too.

Wanted to upgrade from a 37" LCD to something bigger and a little sharper because I play a lot of games. The price on this was too good to pass up. It doesn't have HDR but I don't mind. I didn't necessarily buy it for 4K but it's a nice bonus. Picture is beautiful and love the smart features.

This t.v. is awesome! It has a great picture, Chromecast is cool and pretty easy to setup and the size is great.

this is not a smart tv. it's a chromecast ultra tv. it has awesome screen casting abilities with my nexus 6p and google pixel (look into downloading local cast for local bluetooth headphone playing). my iphone integration is only on an app by app basis. the picture quality is fun.

This TV is an object lesson in "you get what you pay for." On the plus side, it's nice and light. The built-in chromecast works quite well. The picture is suitably sharp as one would expect with a 4k panel. Sound is neither better nor worse than the typical flat panel TV. On the downside, the upscaling is mediocre so you are probably better off letting your streaming source upscale if possible. There is some pixelation evident in blue sky images and banding in very dark areas. Not surprising at this price, it's edge lit without any pretense of local dimming so not a good candidate for darkened room movies. As a general purpose set for watching during the day and in brightly lit rooms it will suffice but don't expect to get a picture to rival an LG or a Sony.

Most flatscreens have terrible sound, but this one is pretty decent. It's user friendly and is easy to install.

I love this TV. The picture is so clear and I like that I can cast all my shows onto the TV with my smartphone.

I bought this TV as part of a Cyber Monday deal for $397. An incredible value for the price! And, a definite upgrade in picture quality from our old Panasonic 50-inch LED. Although we don't have a 4K receiver, the realism of the picture is stunning compared to the old TV. My only complaint is that when the TV is turned off, a standby light stays on, which probably drains a little energy. STILL, I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN (ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE)!

So far this 4k TV has performed very. well. It was easy to set up. The remote is easy to use. Channels change quickly without numeric keys, even with 2 dozen OTA stations. Picture size is buried in the main menu rather than on the picture key. The cable company's remote and others work fine with this set. Picture and sound are very good, the motion of images is notably smooth. Cable and Roku work nicely, have not set up Chromecast or 4k yet.

Could not pass this up at the price...to be honest, I was not sure what to expect, but I have only had good experiences with Toshiba, so I figured "what the heck"... Plugged it in and I was not disappointed, rather, my fondness for this brand has been reinforced.

This 4K ultra tv is awesome. Was a great price and the picture is amazing. We have it on our patio.

I thought at first that I was getting a good tv until I took it home. I have always looked at Toshiba as a good/reliable company. With this purchase, however, I am extremely disappointed. I use my 55" Toshiba 4K Tv as a primary tv. So it sees a lot of use and I do play XBox on it as well. So here's my feedback: Pros: -Cheap price for a big TV! Cons: -if I watch the tv more than an hr, it will randomly switch inputs/sources. Until its turned off and has cooled down -if watching a fast-paced movie (usually action movie) image is distorted or looks as if there are watermarks on the tv. Same goes for gaming. -Tv will randomly shut off while watching it -Sometimes Tv won't shut off at all. In this case, you have to manually unplug the tv from the power source. -The overall design of tv looks horrible. I'm very picky about my electronics and tend to be very gentle with putting together or in this case mounting my tv. but out of the box, the frame of the tv or more say the trim. looks as if it's been put together poorly due to all the small dents running along the frame of the tv. If you're looking for a cheap tv and just want something to get by, then all means buy this tv. But if you want something reliable and of better quality. then invest an extra $200-$300 into a better tv. because if you actually end of buying this. You will find yourself extremely disappointed.

The TV is of good quality and it was easy to set up, though I did use geek squad to Mount it to wall.

This tv is great has an awesome picture and the built in chromecast is just an added bonus!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this TV vs the cost. Wasn't expecting much, but it has decent black levels and I like the Chromecast feature. Using as a bedroom tv. Would not use for my main viewing, but as an "extra" tv, it works great for my needs.

I have had my Toshiba 4K now for about 6-8 months now and so far no complaints and picture is awesome. The resolution on the 4K material is so detailed I was surprised how well this unit has worked so far. Also use it with my PS4 Pro and what can I say it does not disappoint games look incredible and movies just as good. Well highly recommend if your looking for a 4K unit without burning a hole in your pocket.
