Customers consistently note the 55" Class 4K Ultra HD TV's excellent picture quality, affordable price, and easy setup. Many appreciate the built-in Chromecast feature, while others find the sound quality to be solid. Love the TV. Works great. The only thing is that it has a built in google to work with your iphone. Unfortunately, not knowledgeable enough to use as the TV was meant to be used.

I have owned a few toshiba TVs and loved them. This is by far my least favorite. It gets blurry a lot. It disconnects from the chrome cast and resets itself a lot.

I purchased this TV on an open box discount for $475. While I wouldn't recommend it at full price it normally goes on sale to arpundits 500 or less. Good buy at lower price.

Average TV for the price. The Chrome Cast is kind of a pain. It starts on that input menu when you turn it on, so you have to select your input for TV every time.

Overall, we are dissatisfied with the tv. The color(tint and brightness) is bad and no matter how you try to rectify it, it doesn't work. The sound is subpar too. The picture is okay but nothing like our Samsung or other tv's I have noticed in BestBuys showroom on the various other makes and models. In the past we have purchased Samsung and would buy another one in a heartbeat... If it costs a bit more, it will be worth it. I'd like to kick this one to the curb!!!!

Purchased October 23... end of November TV was powering on and off by itself and picture was distorting Called Toshiba and advised to take back to store Customer service was no help, finally got everything in to service desk and they referred me to geek squad and they advised they had to send to service center that was November 30th got an alert it was shipped on 12/2/16 and after more than a week it is still in transit with me having no idea whats wrong with the tv or when I will get it back...its just shipping So in summary, bought tv enjoy about a month, sent out for repairs by geek squad and when ever I get it back , hopefully before new years day, but I doubt it... I will no longer have a new tv I will have a refurbished tv...which was not what I paid for Not happy with Toshiba or Best buy with this whole ordeal

    A great TV for Chromecast

This is a solid TV with a very competitive price. The picture-quality is on-par with other 2160p/4K TVs that cost 50% more. It's fast and not bloated like Smart TVs from other brands. If it wasn't already obvious from the instruction manual, quick setup guide, and large advertising on the box, this TV was built primarily with Chromecast in mind. It expects you to have a mobile device (e.g. Android or iOS) or a computer with a Chrome browser to cast to it. The built-in Chromecast works wonderfully on the L621U. I've tested it to stream up to 2160p (like Chromecast Ultra) on YouTube 4K videos (just press the info button to view the resolution). Otherwise, without Chromecast, it's a barebones TV and relies on input from HDMI or cable/digital TV. It doesn't have any Smart TV features available in many other TVs. If you want those, you'll need to connect a separate box like a Mii Box, Roku, or XBone/PS4. This is also a good thing because Smart TV apps are typically less useful than Chromecast. They take time to open, can become outdated, and typically have worse support. Most of all, it's super annoying trying to type the name of a video in a Smart TV app using remote control arrow keys. You would need a separate bluetooth keyboard. But every once in awhile, I do wish I could browse files or play an H.264/5 or MKV encoded video directly from the built-in USB, which currently only views pictures.

read the review on best buy website and all the review was very good about the tv so i made my mind up and got it. it hasn't been a full 2 months and already the screen is blurry. it does it from time to time, but lately its been doing it all day. when I called to set up a repair with geek squad that's when I found out that the protection plan that I got was put on the wrong tv. so now im stuck with a blurry tv.

The only con about this tv is the wireless range . It needs to be close to the router to have a good signal ( 15 ft) max.!!!!

This was a terrible television monitor. It was very cheaply made and the edges flexed and bent with the lightest contact. Moving it was unsettling. More importantly, the picture was awful, one of the worst i have seen. My 10 year old Phillips LCD tv has a much better picture than this Toshiba. Buy a HiSense or a Phillips instead or a Vizio, LG, or Samsung if you have more money; they are much better.
