It takes a while to learn how to use the touch screen and how you navigate thru the screens. Computer seems to run very slowly for a new computer.

I purchased this laptop as part of a Best Buy bundle for my parents' anniversary. While we eventually got everything in working order, initial setup was a real challenge. It appears that most of the trouble was related to Internet Explorer, but there were also a few times during setup that the computer had to be restarted completely. Now that we have it up and running, it seems to be performing adequately. Thankfully, it's only needed for basic functionality purposes and we don't expect to tax its abilities now that it's in working order.

WE BOUGHT THIS LAPTOP FOR SURFING NET AND CHECKING EMAIL ETC. IT DOES WHAT WE NEED. SCREEN SIZE IS JUST RIGHT AND HAS LATEST WINDOW AND CAME WITH 6 MONTH ANTIVIRUS. WE ARE HAPPY.

The Satellite meets my needs for home computing. I was attracted to the all-in-one package of the PC plus MS Office and I wanted a decent sized screen. Negatives are that the keyboard is a little awkward in that I find that the space bar is too small and I often don't get a space unless I hit it hard. Also, I don't like that certain defaults were set for me (for instance, when I load Chrome, I also get a Yahoo search tab. Otherwise, it met my expectations and has been a good laptop, easy to set up and use.

I bought this for my daughter who is going to college and she loves it and uses it all the time. She is very happy with touch screen, loves screen and in general is using computer instead of her phone for internet

I like this computer. The only thing is it freezes up alot and you have to hold down the on button to get it to restart

Better screen, Quick response using WiFi , Plus is the DVD Player, plenty of plug ins. I' m just an average user and so far I'm happy with my Dell Laptop. I've also received great service from Best Buy.

It is a good computer for what I need it for. I only use it at work for internet and processing for accounting. It has reset on me twice for an unknown issue, which sucked because I was right in the middle of a big P.O. But other than that I like it.

Replaced my 17" Toshiba due to a cracked screen and downsized a bit to this one and LOVE the touch screen. The screen is bright, light weight, perfect features and battery lasts a long time!

Not the fastest processor but I find this laptop good for surfing the internet and basic tasks.

Best laptop to get to browse and use for writing functions like you need word but you also wanna surf the web, the touchscreen is highly recommended it makes everything faster.

I cant say this has been a good experience working with this computer. I contiplated bringing back to the store a few times but remembered it was my budget that drove me to this purchase. It moves slow.. i did have to remove tons of pre-installed apps and programs. If you just need The suite from MS..its okay..but not very quick online

Excellent laptop, the touchscreen is very responsive, touch pad will freeze if you rest your right hand on it for too long while typing... otherwise it performs great.

I love this laptop. It is easy to use, starts quickly and shuts down in a flash. It is great to jump between the keyboard and touch screen. Better than any tablet.

Bought this as a first computer for my son. This is the 4th Toshiba I have got from Best Buy. Easy set up that only takes a few minutes. Would recommend.

This is a good laptop with options of writing notes on the screen. Great for students that need to take notes in class or just do general things.

This is the first laptop I have used. And as a beginner it is very east to use. I like the new windows 8.1. And look forward to the upgrade when it becomes available to me

This is the first computer I have bought with a touch screen. This is a great computer! Would definitely recommend this product.
