Oh my, what a fantastic take on the roguelike genre. I've put in 30hours into the game and only cleared the first story section, one out of many. There are also bonus dungeons and a fairly lengthy DLC episode that's at least a 10-15hour adventure. I'm having so much fun with no signs of slowing down, constantly progressing with better and better weapons/skills and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface with the insanely powerful equipment setups. The difficulty is very fair so far, even for someone who's kind of bad at these games. It's not easy, but also not frustrating enough to put me off.. the difficulty so far is just perfectly balanced. I've tried some of the super hard, optional Lunatic dungeons.. and.. it seems there's definitely content that will challenge the hardcore fans of the genre. It's a shame the backgrounds look so bad, because the character sprites are VERY detailed and animated well. Music is GREAT. Every character is fully voiced (even big budget games skimp on voice acting these days.) The overall presentation is pretty well done, but it's hard to ignore the RPG maker backgrounds, honestly they're the only blemish to an otherwise amazing take on the genre.

Was a little different then what I'm used to in an RPG. Gameplay was inviting and I enjoyed the story.

If you are a fan of the classic Shiren the wanderer style of rough likes. This might be worth having in your collection. Its a very simple game and if your a fan of TOUHOU universe games this is worth having in your collection. Its unique enough you might want to find a video review off YOU TUBE just to make sure you will enjoy it.

Graphics, game play, controls all good. I would suggest anyone into rpgs to get it.

This is an ok roguelike with a fun art style. If you are a fan of the series you will enjoy it.

This game lets you replay the adventure from the original Touhou Genso title, and new adventures bring even more excitement to your screen.

I recommend playing this game if you like the old games like zelda

Good production values and nice art but a bit overwhelming on the gameplay side.

Definitely killed some time with this game but it wasnt really my style of gameplay.
