This works for what it’s worth. I was able pair it with my Alexa. I have it connected to a lamp. Only thing is that I need to ask Alexa to turn it on AND off or else it will not turn on again but I manually turned it off

I have another brand, that constantly fails. But the Kasa has never failed. Great device. Will be buying another someday to replace the brand I am not happy with.

No problem setting up. Unfortunately, the only problem I have is the old non grounded receptacles in my old house. I guess I could use adapters, but probably not recommended by manufacturer. Otherwise, it works well.

I love this plug. It does not take up to much space. You can still use the other outlet with no problem. It is great to be able to go on your phone and turn the lights on before you get home. It is perfect in Winter.

Simple installation, even for your first plug in the home. Plug it into the outlet, download the app on your phone and you'll have this connected to your home assistant is roughly 5 minutes from start to finish. Additional plugs take 2 minutes each. It works great for simple on-off operation and can be programmed for your vacation home security needs as well. I gave it a "5" for value because it was on sale when I purchased ($12.50 ea in a two-pack). At full price ($18 ea or 2/$40, not a typo, you actually pay more for the two pack, I don't know why), it is quite a bit more expensive than similar products.

Bought these to help automate and more easily manage the Christmas tree lights this year. The plugs worked flawlessly and were easy to manage using the Kasa smart app.

We have a couple of these and gave one to grandma for Christmas to control the lamp by her bed. She can give voice commands and turn the light on and off now rather than trying to reach for a chain or switch.
