||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basically this is the modern version of the old ‘clapper’ except you can either use your voice through Alexa (which we use 3rd generation dots) or the app on your phone. When internet goes out, you have to manually operate things again. I got them for $5/piece with purchase of two echo dots. Would I pay more?? ... again it’s a fancy ‘clapper’

TP-Link is great!

I know TP-Link because I have been using their networking products for years and I've never had any problems with quality. The "TP" in the name stands for twisted pair as in Ethernet cable. It is a great company from, I believe, Taiwan.
